FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing too complicxated here . We offer a $19.95 service charge . The technican will diagnose the appliance problem and after researching any parts needed , they will give you an estimate on the spot . if you decide to repair the appliance , we waive the service charge and you just pay the repair price . We also offer a senior citizen discount of 10% on all completed repairs . We also do alot of work for landlords and deal directly with the tenants to make things easier on the owners by setting the appointment over the phone with a tenant and being able to take a credit card over the phone so that in most cases , the owner never has to interupt their day by going to the rental property .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes we take as many training classes as we can , so that we can stay up to date on the new technology . As appliances become more electronic , with more computer boards and electrical components than ever before ,we need to know how to address our customers problems with confidence . We also have the ability to call the tech lines for many major companies to assist us in a situation we may not have seen before . We also subscribe to many industry magazines to keep up to date on whats happening in the industry .
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in the 70's , In high school i would pick up applainces and fix them and resell them . After working with devopmentally disabled adults in a instutional enviroment for a few years , I found my way back to it and have made a career of helping people with their appliance problems .
