K954 Dog Training

Introduction: I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, former Veterinary Technician, AKC evaluator, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the International Association of Canine Professionals, and a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. My goal is to help owners learn how to effectively communicate with their dogs with a fear free curriculum. While I love working on obedience, a large part about working through most behaviors involves other techniques that focus on changing the dogs emotional state. Emotion drives behavior. Therefore, I want to give my clients all the knowledge they need to succeed in a reasonable amount of time whether we are working on basic obedience commands, addressing behavior issues, or service dog training. I strive to help owners and their dogs achieve their training goals and build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth together. My approach to training focuses on empowering owners to have confidence in their ability to train their dogs and establish a strong bond with their furry companions. I believe that the key to successful training is finding a healthy balance between structure and flexibility, and using a variety of techniques to meet the unique needs of each dog and owner.
