Lauren is an incredibly skilled trigger point massage therapist, knowing exactly where to zero in on the source of your pain. It is unusual to find therapists who know how to do trigger point therapy, and know how to do it well. My particular case is challenging enough that when I have tried other massage therapists, they have apologized and said that they were unable to help me. But it's all in a day's work for Lauren. She is able to treat some of the most difficult areas of the body and cautious enough to not over treat and trigger a migraine attack, something I haven't figured out how to do yet for myself! She has been invaluable in helping me reduce pain from a variety of conditions over the 6+ years I have had the pleasure of seeing her.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is best to schedule 1.5-2 hours for your first session. We start with a medical intake to address past injuries and develop a treatment protocol. Corrective actions can be discussed during the treatment to address what may be causing the muscular pain. Preventative stretches may be encouraged to give you control over your pain between sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed massage therapist. Extensive Myofascial trigger point continuing education. Bachelors in business from FGCU. Nursing Assistant Certification.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a licensed and practicing massage therapist since I was 18. I continue working to help people live more comfortable lives.
