Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Our work is different from the others in that we are highly comprehensive and efficient. We have been told that our first lesson covers more than other trainers' entire programs. In our first lesson, we do an assessment of the dog and the environment that the dog lives in. Then we go through Key Communication Points - this is very important in your daily interactions with your dog(s) in order to get and maintain their attention. Then we go through Behavioral work (doing 2-3 different behavioral exercises) and then Structural work (which is usually done outside the home - just in front of the house). We do in home dog training and are capable of doing lessons anywhere they are needed. Here are some Key Communication Points for FREE!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choosing a dog trainer is like choosing a teacher for you and your child (the 4 legged kind). Four very crucial questions to ask an individual who claims to be a dog trainer are: 1) How long have you been a dog trainer? 2) What is your specialty? 3) What approach and equipment do you use when training a dog? 4) Can you provide at least 3 references, including one from a training/boarding facility, a veterinarian, and a client with a similar dog training situation such as mine? Make sure to follow through and contact those references as well do some preliminary research online. You may type in the name of company and the name of the company owner or trainer that you will be working with to get an idea of what your local online community thinks of that trainer / company. Other mediums such as Facebook, and dog trainer sites that may mention that individual or company may also serve as a good reference point. For more info, you may click on our website.
