If you are looking for the best professional pet care provider in Broward and Dade Counties and surrounding areas for your precious ones…then the Pet Au Pair, LLC is whom you should trust your pets too. We have been using the Pet Au Pair, LLC for over a year now. We are delighted and our rescue Chihuahua Tex, (“Lil Man” to Auntie Gail) and our Finches (Dumbledore and Harry Potter) are happy clients! Gail comes to our home when we travel professionally, vacation, or just can’t get home in time to feed or walk them daily. She has a PetScort service too, that is so convenient when our little ones need to go to the vet or groomer. It saves us time from our busy schedules. Gail is dependable, trustworthy, loving, and gives us peace of mind knowing that our babies are in very capable hands in our home or out on the road when we are away. She leaves us notes; text messages with cute photos letting us know how our babies did each day. She is always a positive caring professional and we noticed the difference in our dog Tex! He has really come out of his shell, a happy boy when we get home. He is crazy about Gail. We highly recommend the Pet Au Pair if you are looking for a dog walker or pet sitter!

Gail is just terrific! She was able to bond with my two teacup poodles who have serious trust issues. She loves them and cares for them in such a way that they have not experienced any problems with their nervous bellies ! She is simply the best!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Pet care providers do much more than walk your dog or provide your pet with food and water while you are away from home! Have that important initial phone introduction, set up a complentary no obligation meet & greet. Credentials such as bonding, insurance,, background check, and accreditation along with references are important. A pet sitter—a professional, qualified individual paid to care for your pet—offers both you and your pet many benefits. A good pet sitter also spends quality time with your companion. Your pet gets: The environment he knows best. His regular diet and routine. Relief from traveling to and staying in an unfamiliar place with other animals (such as a boarding kennel). Loving attention while you're away. You get: Happier friends and neighbors, who aren't burdened with caring for your pet. The peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pet is being cared for by a professional. Someone to bring in your newspaper and mail so potential burglars don't know you're away. Someone who will come to your home so you don't have to drive your pet to a boarding kennel. Other services provided by most pet sitters, such as plant watering and PetScort Taxi services to and from groomers and vet appointments.
