Jonathan came out in just one hour after I posted the project for my residential window tinting. He was professional and did a great job on my 5 sliding glass doors. I would hire again for my next house.Feb 19, 2018Verified
I must say that I made an excellent choice with Armor tints! Jonathan was very professional, made it on time, and excellent work! 5 star service. Thank you Jonathan. I will highly recommend Armor tints to everybody!Mar 20, 2020Verified
Responded quickly, provided a price upfront... when I asked for a an additional window, it was quickly quoted and it wasn’t a ridiculous amount. The guy did a good job and the work looks good. He left a little bit of a mess with the water, but it’s ok. He also informed me when he was delayed and I appreciated the heads-up.Oct 2, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Costs per square foot can vary, depending on how large or small the project is. We can offer a lower cost per square foot when we have a larger-scale installation—especially when it’s on large pane glass windows. Smaller, French pane-style windows take more time. Residential and Commercial customers: $3.5 per square foot for materials and installation. We will tint any size of window, but for smaller projects, such as one window or one door, we may charge a minimum service fee ($120) to cover travel time, equipment and labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The typical process for working with a customer involves the following 5 steps. 1. Understanding the clients needs and expectations of what they need. 2. Assessing the location and taking measurements of the windows. 3. Making a proposal for the project. 4. Installation of the window film. 5. Following up with the client after the standard curing time of the film to make sure we were able to reach 100% satisfaction of job.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? After installation, the film may have a "hazy" appearance as well as a few water pockets/bubbles. Don't be alarmed. The film is going through a drying-out process known as curing. This is to be expected because the barrier nature of the film prevents you from removing 100% of the water/soap solution located underneath the film. Complete dry-out should occur within a few weeks, depending on the amount of sunlight, humidity and heat directed upon the window. Do not clean the film during this drying period. Once the film is dry, clean the surface with a lint-free cloth and a mild soap and water solution.
