Raffaele did some wiring around my home and installed some ceiling fans. His price was very reasonable compared to other estimates that I received I would highly recommend him and will definitely rehire him for future projects
Herb Stewart was very professional, honest, and detailed on his assessment of the issue and in his troubleshooting, and resolving the issue with the lights not working on my ceiling fan. He went the extra mile to ensure that my problem got resolved. I would definitely use Herb's services again and would highly recommend him for any electrical or wiring issues.
Lauro is wonderful! He arrived on time, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and got my job done in one afternoon. He replaced three panels of switches, and installed 2 ceiling fans. He went above and beyond to repair a loose outlet, as well. I would definitely hire Lauro in the future for electrical and other work. Quality work!
Richard Phillips did an excellent job painting my whole interior house: walls, ceiling, doors, and my garage floor. The project was done on schedule and with a fair cost. Richard helped us with creative painting ideas and his advice was accurate to choose the colors, house looks great and color combinations is perfect. His long experience in construction projects and real estate makes him an expert consultant for any house improvement. I definitely will keep working with Richard in future projects and highly recommend Construction Services by Richard Phillips. Thank you Richard!
Jose helped me with several little projects, including hanging drapes onto a very high ceiling. He was very quick, meticulous and reasonable with price. I will hire him for other projects for sure.

ACS redid my 40 year old domed ceiling in the kitchen, now it looks beautiful. ACS was prompt, and professional. Excellent work.
I originally hired Skip for cabinetry and drywall repair, and could not be more pleased with his finished product. He is highly competent, takes pride in his work, and has a keen eye for attention to detail. His skills are diverse, and by the time he left he had also completed additional projects involving ceiling fans, dishwasher repair, derailed drawers and shower door repair. This was all accomplished at a very reasonable price and with a pleasant attitude. I will be recommending him to my friends, and he will be the first person I call in the future for home repair projects.
Ash installed the ceiling on our back porch. The job involved installing 1x6 tongue-in-grove pine that was stained 6 different colors, and cut to 6 different lengths. It was put up in random pattern and trimmed out around the edges. He also install new lighting fixtures and ceiling fan. We thought it would be difficult but Ash did a great job in record time.
Painting the whole condo after removing wallpaper. Carpet replacement. Installation of the bathroom vanities and new faucets. Removing drop ceiling in the kitchen and installation of the new lights. Fixing a crack in the bathtub and reglazing it. Repair of patio wall which was water damaged. Eco Restoration did a good job on the tight schedule however initial estimate differed from the final fees.
After requesting a bid from Enterprise Executive Inc to perform skim-coating of a bedroom walls and remove ceiling popcorn to a smooth texture on both, and install crown molding, I received a professional bid explaining exactly what would be done, when it would be completed, and the expected response for any possible unexpected issues. After accepting the bid (which I felt was very reasonable), the work was done to my satisfaction within the time stated on the proposal. In addition, plastic was placed on the floor and furniture, and upon completion of work all was cleaned. The results were so favorable, that a month later I asked for a bid to paint the room that was done. Favorable price and results then too. I would certainly use this firm again.
We needed a ceiling replaced due to an upstairs toilet leak. Jesus and Edgar quickly determined that the leak still existed and were patient while we had our neighbor repair her problem before we finished ours. They also suggested putting in a ceiling access door to avert future problems. They also came up with a solution to offset walls that prevented upping up normal curtain rods. They also promptly installed a new kitchen ceiling light. All for a reasonable charge. We were totally impressed with their integrity and customer service. We will definitely call on them again when we need repairs or updates to our condo.
MVM is a licensed contractor.but they aren't the ones doing the work. It's a front for them to allow another company, Olaf Commercial Service to use their licensed status in order to portray themselves as licensed. The person who responded to my quote request through Thumbtack was Miquel. He portrayed we was a rep of MVM and presented a contract from MVM. However, The first time I had to make a payment Miguel asked that I make the check payable to his drywall company, Olaf commercial. We agreed on a price for my entire project which included gutting and reframing a bathroom and gutting a kitchen and installing cabinets. He asked for a $1200 down payment upon signing the contract with MVM. After he finished removing popcorn ceiling, he asked for more money. He kept pressuring me for more money. To date, I have paid him $6000.00 and all he has done is removed the popcorn in my living room and replaced a 72x80 area of a wall with wood pieces I had. The last straw came this week when he asked for more money when I gave him an additional $1500 on the day he had been last to me house. On this day, all he did was move furniture and install a ceiling fan. For having received $6000 in advance of doing the most major work (which has yet to be done), it felt like I was being given the shake down. These people are a fraud. They want money and more money without having done the work. I have so much renovation going on at my house that I did not have the energy to fight Miguel over money. He took advantage. He had not finished removing the popcorn in my ceiling and hallway when I left tuesday of this week. Today I hired another contractor who finished the ceiling work in the common areas for $600. I only wish I had found them first before I relied on Thumbtack to refer a reputable company. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE.
We were referred to Decorators Way by our realtor. We bought a 1970's condo in Miami Beach that had everything original. We had no idea how to address the renovation and design process but when we met with Decorators Way design team they presented clearly their concept and we fully trusted them and went for it. We wanted a homey, casual, relax but trendy decor that reflected our personalities. They raised the ceilings, installed recessed lighting, new custom kitchen, new bathrooms, floor, closets, I mean we stripped down the whole place. The outcome was way much better than what we had expected. Along are some photos that evidence the finished project. We will include a few of the before photos as well. Super professional crew.
After having 2 no-shows with other handyman services I was very pleased with David Cadiz. He called the day before to confirm the appointment. He also called the morning of the appointment to confirm he was on the way. He was prompt and did an excellent & thorough job with a number of different small projects, drywall repair, faucet install, ceiling fan, installing some light fixtures and mounted a flat screen TV. Great service. I will be using him again. Very Happy.

Chris Oakes remove approximately 1100 sq. ft. of popcorn ceiling from our Condo in Delray Beach and did a beautiful job in skimming and finishing off the ceiling. I would recommend Chris to anyone who is looking for a responsible, knowledgeable contractor. Scott Howells, Owner
Bob owner of Philadelphia design/build absolutely gets FIVE Stars from me as I found him very honest & super pleasant to deal with. His work & detail to all the aspects of the work required which was installing new lights in my dropped ceiling which he had to design as well as the wiring was excellent. THANK YOU MUCH.
Needed a ceiling fan installed in the master bedroom, the was an issue with the building's electrical wiring and it was handled like a pro by these guys. Cleaned up the work area as well which was really nice. Highly recommended Ray
George is a very unusual handiman and man-of-many-talents. He SHOWS UP! And he is on time! And he will do what you ask him, and if you are not satisfied - he will redo and correct until you are. He is also creative and has very good ideas for home decorating - a great sense of color and design. George has removed popcorn ceilings, painted, built patios, installed ceiling lighting, installed chair railings, painted garage floors and driveways, built docks - not only for us, but for many friends and neighbors. Always willing to help - going beyond the jobs themselves - and positive, a good listener, and a very hard worker. George does not pretend to be an expert at everything, but he is intelligent and willing to learn what it takes to do jobs he has never done before. It would be very hard, if not impossible, to find anyone with a better attitude and work ethic. He completed all jobs within the time frame he had calculated, and no job is ever done until customers are satisfied.
