Wow where do I start? My fiancee was adamant about planning our own wedding. Long story short, she quickly became overwhelmed with which vendor to choose or trust, while keeping her vision of the wedding. We looked for help found BAM and thought it was too good to be true because the price was so great. Melissa from BAM made everything so much easier to understand. She caught mistakes we made by not booking our own security for our venue and that for every hour we were over the venue would bill us for it. They even had a trash policy we were unaware of that we could've been billed for as well. All in all BAM was well worth the price and then some. I'm just happy that my wife had the help of Melissa otherwise we're not sure what we would've done. I would definitely recommend BAM to anyone for help planning your wedding.

I know this is one of the most stressful parts of any bride's planning - making decisions on vendors that you don't have personal references for from someone you trust. Hiring Melissa was the best decision I made when it comes to my wedding. My husband and I both have very large families, and although neither of us liked the idea of a large wedding, but we didn't have much of a choice. I was a little hesitant when it came to making decisions and procrastinated on a lot of details. About a month before my wedding, as things finally started to come together, I realized I was crazy for thinking I would be able to assign random day-of tasks to different friends or family members. Our venue was an outdoor property that didn't come with any other services, so every other aspect of the wedding had to be brought in by a different vendor. Attempting to coordinate this all myself and manage any problems on the day-of would be crazy. Less than a month away, I finally made the decision to meet with Melissa based on a few reviews I read online. I hired her on the spot, more because of the timing issue than anything, so I was a little nervous how it would all turn out. She immediately eased my concerns. I had provided her with copies of contracts for each vendor and she ran with it. After spending time understanding the ins and outs of my plan, she contacted all vendors, ensuring everything was still in order, as well as made sure certain terms across contracts were met (ex. the church had specific requests regarding the photographer that I missed. Without my knowledge, Melissa made sure the photog performed in accordance with the church.). She did much of this behind the scenes. As an accountant working full-time, I appreciated this more than anything. It wasn't necessary for me to be bogged down with details unless there was an issue, and I think it made it easier for her to do her job without me jumping in every second. She was extremely professional with all of my vendors; I never once had to question her approach on anything. Melissa also made an extremely detailed schedule for the day-of that helped ensure everyone was on the same page. By the time the day arrived, I literally had not a care in the world other than ensuring I did not fall while walking down the aisle. I had been seeing Melissa in action for long enough at this point to know everything would be fine, or she would at least handle any issues in the best manner. The day went seamlessly. Where both my husband and I had been hesitant about the big event prior to it, we ended our night sad that it was over. We had an incredible time without any major hitches (at least that I was aware of). In addition, my dad could not get a cab to his hotel at the end of the night and my maid of honor was unsuccessful getting the hotel to decorate the room. Melissa managed to have a driver come get my dad AND decorate the room at the same time....above and beyond! If you are questioning hiring a coordinator, stop questioning and hire Melissa. I promise you will not regret it.

Bingo! December 20, 2014, Edwich pops the question and Nathaelle says: “yes.” The wedding is scheduled for August 8, 2015. From that minute, we know a wedding planner is needed. Here we go, in January 2015, Edwich, Nathaelle, and I are introduced to Melissa Israel. Our first impression: • Melissa, who wore a perfect professional suit, showed up on time at the meeting point. • Upon our arrival, her laptop was already on, ready to demonstrate her “savoir-faire” with samples. • Her explanations flowed flawlessly in a persuasive and confident tone. • Her many different options for service and her price range left us speechless. Melissa was hired for the whole planning without a doubt that the wedding was going to be fabulous despite our restrictive budget. Journey: January - August Throughout the journey, Melissa kept constant contact with us while negotiating here and there with all our contractors. Most importantly, she also played the role of an adviser and counselor, which alleviated the stress that such an event encompassed. Her timeline was on point and easy to follow. Melissa deserved a commendation for her patience and her after-party services for she went above and beyond for our complete satisfaction. In sum, Melissa possesses the kind of savvy and skills needed to run the show. Future brides, grooms, and parents, we strongly recommend Melissa for all important events in your life.
