- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, our studio dances on the DVIDA syllabus. It's a nationally accredited dance syllabus which certification runs from Bronze to Gold. Each year our staff is required to update their education and certify to the next level.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to do something more active than just a standard desk job. I've been dancing since the age of 10 and have been teaching dance since 2010 with different groups and non-profit organizations. Dancing allows me to be who I am and the community of people in the dance world help me to improve everyday.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily, I teach students how to dance in all social settings. Whether at a local club, friend's house party, wedding, competitive event, or just with their significant other. I also am contracted to provide entertainment to clients for various events.
