What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have 3 pricing options. The first one is Design-By-Choice where you can choose select services with specific deliverables to keep the project budget friendly.
My second one is a much more involved service with a lot more flexibility in design options.
My third one is full scale remodels/renovations and new builds where designs are extremely flexible, custom designed pieces, collaboration with licensed professionals (ie architects, GCs), and more.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Lots of questions and deep dives into the kind of person you are and what you need. Investing in me as your designer is a HUGE deal and I take it very SERIOUSLY. Your home is your haven, your safe spot, and one of your biggest investments; thus taking the time to truly get to know you in the beginning stages, leaves less and less errors throughout the project.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The best part is, there are so many types of people with specifics wants and needs for their phases in life. For example, Some have high budgets and some have very small budgets. Some are extremely busy and minimally involved, while others want a huge hand in the creative process. Regardless, I treat everyone exactly the way I would want to be treated if the tables were turned… professionally and with care and consideration.
