Thank you!* Get to know your trainer: I am originally from San Diego, CA. I studied at San Diego State University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with Emphasis in Physical Therapy. Soon after graduating, I began working as an Exercise Specialist in rehabilitation and sports medicine under the guidance of a Physical Therapist where I was able to help clients exercise in the office and also in the pool. I completely fell in love with motivating clients, helping them get moving, and seeing results. I moved to Jacksonville, FL, became a Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I have experience with clients from 9-92 years old with all different medical backgrounds and exercise experience. My greatest success story so far is helping motivate and empower one of my clients through nutrition and exercise to help lose 60lbs over the last year. She has had two children and is now almost back down to her high school weight. She has more energy, strength, and confidence than I have ever seen. I could not be more proud of her progress! I was at the top of my weight at 175! I'm 5'3" and 66 years old and just did not want to be an unhealthy slug going into my golden years. COVID belly caught up with me and I also have Coronary Heart Disease. Weight was no longer my friend and my physician said LOSE weight! (I also have flat feet, bunions, and hip pain from arthritis!) I tried so may weight loss programs over the years and I HATE exercise in any form. I started to lose weight on my own in early 2020 and became stuck at a 10 lb. weight loss. I saw my friend use PTbyKG and was amazed at her toning and weight loss (approx. 40 lbs). I really did not want to become accountable to anyone and I really did not want a personal trainer. PTbyKG online was a perfect fit for me (I signed up for the who enchilada!) because I wasn't held to a committed time to complete exercise. I also figured that I hadn't gone on vacation or spent money on dining out so why not splurge on myself. I started working with Katie in July 2020. My first weigh in was 165.3 (trust me the oz's count - LOL) and my pics and measurements were provided. UGGGGG. I fluctuated the first month but my body fat was decreasing and muscle was increasing and I ended the first month at 162. Katie had me walking 5 of 7 days and on a heart friendly exercise program of about 20-30 minutes 3x a week. By October 2020 I weighed 153 and felt much better with more energy. Of most interest was that my exercises included some hip strengthening and the pain has really minimized. The food tracking and discussions with Katie were really helpful to keep me on target. My program ended and I was down approx 20 lbs (149). My body fat decreased 4.24% and I'm almost to normal BMI. It was a consistent loss with a couple of plateau's. Katie talked me through the plateau's and kept me motivated. I have kept on this journey since October and am now at 143.4 (December 2020). I plan to keep going till 135 lbs. PTbyKT made a huge difference in my life which I plan to practice forever. Thanks so much Katie. If you are reading this I highly and strongly encourage you to partake in any of her programs. She really knows her stuff and the programs work. Just do it!

PTbyKG provides a wealth of meaningful information that when utilized, really makes a healthy difference. While using the recommended nutritional tools, I lost twice as many pounds in shorter time than working on my own. That’s accountability! Additionally, the exercises and workouts added to the nutritional plan helped me strengthen and tone as I progressed. I am 20 pounds lighter and feel 20 years younger. Great life changer!
