- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cake quotes: An exact price for our cakes is based on both, the amount of servings and the intricacy of the cake design. We would need to get an idea or a visual of what your dream cake would look like. You can always send us pictures so that we have a visual. Delivery Fee: Our delivery fee is based on time traveled to the event and distance to and from the event only. Cake tastings: We offer cake tastings for a $35 fee which will go towards your final payment if you decide to work with us. We make our cakes from scratch the day before the tasting and we offer up to 4 flavors and 4 buttercream flavors and 2 fillings. The tasting is for up to 2-3 people and we will give you extra samples to take with you to share with friends or family. We can set up a location date and time if you wants to set up a tasting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Some times the information provided on thumbtack is not enough to give an exact price or quote. Cake prices are based on the amount of guests that you will serve at your event and the intricacy of the cake design and style you would like. Is important to provide this information with a brief description of the cake design or pictures. It is also important for the baker and cake designer to know your cake, frosting and filling flavors of choice. Please be as detailed and add as much information as possible about what you need and are looking for and like said before, pictures of your dream cake design are a must to give you an exact quote. If you are interested we can set up a call to further discuss more details about the event, the cake design, pricing and to get to know one another a bit more. When we come to an agreement on the type of cake and pricing I can then send you an invoice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Im self taught by doing a lot of researching and experimenting while making cakes for friends and family. Baking started out as a hobby for me but as I got better I began to realize it was my passion and something I really enjoyed and wanted to spend most of my time doing.
