- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Base fees: Courthouse Style-Vow Renewals, $75. Most Weddings (less than 200 guests), Elopements, $99. Beach Weddings, $200. The base fee does not include Travel Fee, rehearsal fee, time, date, location adjustment; venue insurance; hard to access locations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the retainer fee ($50 and refundable) is paid, I will send out a questionnaire to find out your desires for your ceremony. Based on your answers I will write a draft ceremony script. We can tailor it to make it yours.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for an officiant who listens first. The right officiant should take time to understand your story, your values, and the tone you want for your ceremony. Ask about customization, experience with your type of wedding, and how they handle legal paperwork. Most importantly, choose someone you feel comfortable with—your officiant sets the tone for one of the most meaningful moments of your day. Make sure to get a agreement of understanding. So that all details are covered in writing. You don't want any misunderstandings. ie extra charges or cancellation, etc.
