My weight loss journey started early in life and has been difficult to manage for most of my adult life. I had tried without lasting results, many diet plans. In 2011, I came to the realization that I really needed to adopt a lifestyle change. I was very over weight, on blood pressure medications and had numerous aches and pains. It was the year of my 30th high school reunion and that event became my motivation. I made a decision to not eat anything that came through my car window, as I was frequently choosing what I thought was convenient, over healthy choices. I also began walking daily and bike riding on the weekends. I was good at finding excuses to eat fast food, but stuck to my promise and would go inside and order. Over the year I was able to lose 30 lbs. I went to my reunion and saw what great shape my old friend, Kelly Mothershead was in, and wanted to have the same glow, energy and positivity that surrounded her. We exchanged information and stayed in contact through social media, where I witnessed her help another one of our friend’s with his weight loss and running. In November of 2011 my company, Baycare, began sending out information of an Ultimate Loser competition. It was to begin in January. Over the holidays, I gained 10 lbs and was pretty discouraged with myself. My mind kept wandering back to an image of Kelly and I began researching Ideal Protein and her company A Focus on Fitness. Kelly had told me Ideal Protein was known to be “your last diet”. This is where my life changed forever. In January, I made an appointment for consultation to determine if the plan was safe for me, and I committed to it with Kelly’s reassurance that if I was faithful to the plan, I would see results like never before. I placed the protocol plan in a protective plastic cover and carried it and my Ideal Protein bag with me everywhere I went for the next 5 months. The first week was a bit rough, adjusting to my new lifestyle, but I was amazed at an 11.2 lb weight loss the first week, followed by 5.6lbs the following week.. I was feeling a bit dizzy and after trying Kelly’s remedy of taking in some more mineral sea salt, I consulted with my Doctor. My blood pressure was so low because I was still taking blood pressure medications, that I no longer needed. I had a full blood work up mid way through, and my cholesterol level changed from 149 to 119. I had a doctor’s appt. in February any the Dr. excused herself from the room, thinking she had the wrong chart, as I was there in November and I did not look the the weight she had recorded in the chart she was holding. I was able to lose 60 lbs in 5 short months. The bonus was I had regained my health and now have so much more energy. In April I competed and finished my first Adventure Race/ Triathlon in Ozello. I was on the Sherwood 49ers team and we took 4th place. I was a personal victory as I had watched the race the year before, only wishing I would be able to be in such an event. The other real exciting thing that happened is that I won 2nd place in my company’s Ultimate loser competition. Baycare is a very big company and there were thousands of competitors, so I am very blessed to have won. The important thing is that I am a winner of my health! I am enjoying the rewards of my hard work on the maintenance phase and have recently taken up dragon boat racing. I went last week to try it and after a 2 ½ hour work out on the Homosassa river the captain asked me to join the team. At my previous weight, I would not even been allowed to board the boat. Thanks Kelly and Ideal Protein for saving my life.

Colleen, This email is a long overdue thank you. It was 2006 when we first met. You were selling the home of a family I was working for in the Westhase area of Tampa, Florida. The home was beautiful and in a price range I could only dream of. I was newly married and had a small townhome which my husband and I were looking to rent out due to a job transfer. Like most newlyweds, we were pinching pennies to make ends meet. We knew we had to find a renter and fast, but intimidated that someone of your experience and listing record would not be interested in the small commission you would gain from taking us on as your clients. A home inspection is a visual inspection performed by a trained professional to determine the condition of a home’s main elements. After the inspection, the pro will create a printed report, complete with photos and detailed information, summarizing the condition of the house. A home inspection is often used by potential home buyers prior to purchase to determine if there are larger issues (such as dry rot or a faulty foundation) that are not immediately visible to the untrained eye but that would cost a lot of money to resolve. Home inspections are also used by real estate agents and home sellers to address any concerns before putting a home on the market. Longtime homeowners can also schedule a home inspection to get a snapshot of their current home condition and identify any issues that need to be addressed. A home inspection is not a legal document that can be used for divorce or estate settlements, nor can it be used to secure loans or mortgages.

What does a real estate agent do?

Real estate agents help their clients buy, sell, and rent commercial and residential properties. How do you find a good home inspector?

A home inspection should tell you the true condition of a home. A competent home inspector closely inspects your home’s structure and foundation, looks for termites and signs of problems like mold, checks the wiring to ensure it’s in good condition, and investigates the HVAC system, among other items. To find a good home inspector, first research whether home inspection is licensed in your area; not all states require licensure.

If there is no regulatory body that licenses home inspection in your state, there are other ways to make sure you are hiring a trustworthy professional. Carefully look into the person’s reviews and ask for references. Ask if they are committed to continuing education, and whether they are active members in any reputable home inspector organizations. What's the difference between a real estate broker and an agent?

Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties.
