I hired Danielle July 2015 for personal training sessions. I absolutely hate working out and didn't not want to go to the gym. However, I needed to lose weight to become more healthy. Danielle offers training at my house, on my schedule, and adapts the workouts to meet my needs. In two months, I lost 14 pounds and many, many inches. Each week, I train for two sessions with Danielle. She provides a homework routine for a third day and I add cardio. After two months, I found out I was pregnant. Since then, I have continued my personal training sessions with Danielle and she adapts the workouts to meet my current abilities. Love her!
Training with Jarvis is an overall awesome time. He continuously helps me stick to my goals as well as helps me learn how to properly perform different exercises. Jarvis creates a fun atmosphere to train, which definitely helps me as well! I highly recommend using his services for all your training needs/wants!
1. What fitness goals did you want to accomplish when you hired a trainer? I was interested in healthy meal plans and wanted lose weight and tone up. And, I was thinking of running the KDF mini-marathon again, but needed some motivation and I knew if I lost some weight and started eating better that I’d get the energy and be more motivated. 2. What goals have been accomplished so far? How? I’ve lost weight and am eating better. I feel more energized and am happy to be running again! I’ve also noticed some toning & love that my clothes are getting loose! :) 3. How many pounds and/or inches have you lost since training with Bethany? So far I’ve lost 20 lbs. (159.6 lbs. on Nov. 16, 2013 and 139.6 lbs. Jan. 13, 2014) Inches lost: ? 4. Does Bethany make the workouts fun? Yes she does! She finds ways to not make the workouts boring - they are challenging, but change often and keep me going. For example with cardio - there’s some interval training so it’s not doing the same pace for the full workout. She mixes things up and it really helps keep the motivation going. 5. Do you feel when training with Bethany, you feel challenged? Definitely! I haven’t had one workout that wasn’t challenging. I’m a competitive person so when a workout is given to me, I’m determined to complete it. I trust Bethany to give me a workout she knows I can do and I do my best to get it done. I always feel good afterward and am ready for the next challenge. 6. How Bethany kept you motivated to stick with the program you and she designed together on day 1? She’s always changing it up and keeping it interesting. It’s not the same workout every week and it really helps with motivation. The meal plans are also very good and change often, plus the recipes are super easy and makes planning less stressful. I LOVE every meal I’ve had so far! 7. After working with Bethany, what have you learned to do better or even about yourself? (i.e. How to eat better, you are stronger than you thought, better educated on strength & endurance training, rehabilitated from an injury, etc.) I’ve learned how to eat better and how what I eat helps my energy level and what the best options for pre and post workout are. I’ve also learned that I can do my strength workouts at home, that I don’t need a lot of equipment to have a good workout. And, with the cardio workouts, Bethany has set up for me, I’ve learned how to build up my endurance. I am so excited to be ahead of the training program for the mini-marathon. I usually start training mid-January but now I’m a month ahead and feel like at this rate I have a chance to beat my time from 2 years ago! 8. Would you recommend Bethany to friends and family? Why? Yes I would and I did (my husband). I have worked out with other trainers, but never found one that does meal planning - which is why I first went to Bethany. I did an internet search and her name came up so I looked around for information about her and found her FaceBook page (B Powerful...). I contacted her and after talking with her about my goals, I knew she was the trainer I was looking for. The workouts (strength & cardio) are challenging but doable and the meal plans are easy to follow and delicious! 9. What did you like most about personal training and working with Bethany? She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, always positive and upbeat. She answers any questions I have and offers alternative options to training or meals. I like how the workouts are never the same each week, and how she got me thinking differently about running on a treadmill with the interval and cardio blast workouts she gives me. I like how she offers so many meal options and that the recipes have few ingredients and are super easy to make. I’ve started to enjoy planning meals each week and look forward to each of my workouts. Bethany is a fantastic trainer & meal planner, I feel that I am much closer to my goals and am reaching them much faster with Bethany’s guidance. 10. What are you long-term goals and how do you plan to achieve them? I hope to continue losing inches & weight and toning up, while getting stronger and building my endurance. I plan to keep up with my training and eating plans, which will hopefully turn into running a PR in April’s mini-marathon race!
She puts me at ease and makes working out a comfortable experience. I'm not fond of gyms so the private, one on one training environment is a plus.
Jared does an excellent job! Unlike some trainers I've had in the past, Jared is completely focused the entire workout. His 30 minute training sessions are much more effective than hour sessions at a standard gym. Each workout is different and created personally for each client. Theres a reason he has so many loyal clients and it is because he's the best!

Leslie is absolutely wonderful! She is knowledgeable, understanding of my fitness goals and prepares a challenging but fun outdoor circuit training environment. I highly recommend her.
I had a blast working out with Lynne! She helped me learn the best ways to eat & exercise for the next phase of my life. Training with her was always fun and I looked forward to it every week. The best part is that she kept my workouts different and interesting so I never got bored! One last thing that was really unique -- Lynne hosted get-togethers for her clients to help us develop a community of fitness friends. I made some great connections with people who shared the same experiences and we continue to support each other through our journeys.

My original idea was to hire a trainer just to kick-start the new year... I've always worked out independently I'm a very motivated person but I was struggling a bit...I didn't think I was going to be able to afford to have a trainer for more than a month... After a week of training with Ryan I felt so incredible and the results were phenomenal...more than I would get working out everyday independently and I was having fun...I immediately knew that I had to figure out a way to make my personal training with Ryan a commitment in my life...I can't afford not to train is how I feel now and this is the truth...Im forever grateful... Did my first workout with John Thurs 2/12/15. It was a complimentary training session that lasted 1 hour but it was a great experience.. After my assessment I explained Iâve always had issues with my self image and I quickly get bored with my work outs. So when I contacted John for a session, I was a little nervous because my experiences with trainers had not been successful. I always felt like the workouts werenât challenging me and giving me the results I wanted. But as soon as our session started, John let me know that the session was about me and tailoring a work out that would not only challenge me but keep me interested. I also voiced my goals to lose weight and he educated me on how we can stay motivated and stick to the plan. He made sure I realized that I can reach my goals . But he made sure that I realized it wonât happen over night and I had to really commit to making life changes. After my first session with John I must say he is not only a great trainer but your own motivational mentor. My impression is he wants you to succeed and will help you in anyway he can!â
Jessie is great at motivating me so I can achieve my goals. He has good tips that fit my needs and his workouts are tailored for me. I have had other trainers but he is really unique and has a high degree of knowledge around nutrition, food chemistry in relationship to the body and various training methods. I am working with him until my goals are reached.
Beth was my personal trainer for about half a year, until I had to take a break while I was in nursing school. She is the most amazing trainer I have had, and I have had many through out the years with playing sports. Beth will analyze your body and find your weaknesses that you need to work on, balance you out, and help you get the body that you desire. She can help with strength, balance, conditioning, whatever your goals are she can help with it. Beth is a high recommendation of mine. My goals were weight loss and I lost 30 pounds while working with her, and greatly increased my strength while doing so. Beth's customized training plans are incomparable to others, she will never let you down. Beth is trainer to nab up while you can, I can't wait till I am done with school and can work with her again.
