Hired Maureen for dog training. She is very good at what she does and down to earth and friendly. She even got my male chihuahua to sit! Having her back for more lessons.
I am the owner of a very energetic Black Labrador. I knew that I had a dog with high energy and needed professional help with training my puppy. I found Martha Bernal through a friend at work who was happy with her dog training. Martha guided my puppy through ten sessions of puppy training (basic puppy obedience). I was very pleased with her obvious love of dogs and immediate results with each lesson. Martha has a gentle, effective approach to training dogs and my dog responded very well to her training sessions. The end result for me was that my Labrador became a lot more easy to manage because he understood the commands (requests) that I made such as "Come" "Sit" "Stay" "Leave it" and he also stopped jumping up on people. I enjoyed seeing my dog learn and am very happy with the dog training that Martha provided to my dog. He remembers everything she taught him and it makes our family happy to have a well trained big dog. I would recommend her highly to anyone considering a dog trainer.
Andy was excellent and our family really liked onsite one on one training with our dog. We are on our way to a well behaved dog. :) Looking forward to joing the group lessons soon. Highly recommend Andy's help to anyone struggling with doggy behavioural issues.
Our 2 year old lab/chow mix was very disobedient. Now only after a couple sessions he has learned so much! I would recommend this dog trainer to anyone that truly cares about their dogs!
Trainer was on time.Good personality. assessment of dog right on. taught basic commands to the dog and the owners.
I hired Christine to help with my sons two year old German Shepherd Odin. Odin is a great dog but had become very hard to walk due to his constant pulling and barking. Christine helped me learn new ways to train Odin and they worked right from the very beginning. Odin wanted to learn it was just me not knowing the right ways to get started. Chirstine was always right on time, and her enthusiasm and energy were contagious for both Odin and I. My son is now continuing to work with Christine and we look forward to bringing Odin to a group walk soon.
Rose has been a pleasure to work with. Her knowledge and patience has exceeded my expectations. She is what a real dog trainer should be. I have spent a lot of money in the past with others with no end result and after just a short time I have already seen great results that continue even after she leaves our home. My Pitbull and Bull Dog love her and are growing to have much better manners. We are very grateful for the work she has put into the training and educating us to be better owners. Will recommend to friends and family without a doubt!
Julie has been a blessing for my wife and I. We met her and immediately liked her. She has proven to be reliable, trustworthy and most important....great with our 2 dogs Teddy and Buffy. Julie spends time with them, walks and pets them. We trust her so much that we gave her the alarm code and entrance to our house. We would highly recommend Julie to anyone wanting a dog sitter/walker. Ian & Melissa, Bradenton, Fl.
Josh was extremely professional and was fantastic with my dogs, Nala & Sasha! I needed a groomer and he was able to fit me in right away! I loved his personality and I will be using him often!
We have been using K-9 Coach for about 7 years. We had a new puppy after the death of one of our two dogs. The puppy was being very badly treated by the remaining dog and uncontrollable, probably in mourning. We used the K-9 Coach, Mike and got great results. We now have two very well trained dogs that are now therapy dogs at Hospice. We keep going to classes for socialism for our two dogs and on Saturday morning they sit at the door about 1/2 hour prior to our departure as they are so anxious to go to social class.cc
Alison did a wonderful job taking care of our dog and cat. Not only was she attentive and detailed, Allison also sent us near-daily updates while we were away. It was great hearing from her, and helped us feel at ease while we were away. We would recommend Allison to anyone looking for a housesitter.
Martee always goes above and beyond when she cares for our 3 pups. They love her so much and we have total peace of mind when we're gone. It's wonderful to have her not only watch the dogs but also housesit. We plan trips every 2-3 months and Martee is always on time, handles emergencies with ease, communicates often with us while we're gone. We always come home to a spotless home and happy pups. She's the best!!
Vanessa provides both a warm experience for your dog and a professional relationship with their owner. Our beautiful yellow lab, Haley, loves her playtime at Vanessa's home. Both her dogs and children help Vanessa ensure that Haley will be entertained and properly taken care of. We have great peace-of-mind when we travel knowing that our precious dog is having fun and in good hands. We highly recommend Vanessa!
Christina is amazing! She really knows her stuff, is willing to answer any and all questions, and really takes her time training you and your dog. I highly recommend her.
I've been using Maya and Happy at Home for several months. Maya is great with my dog - she is really caring and responsive. Super reliable. I appreciate that she takes different walk areas for my fur baby and he loves it !
I hired Quinn to work with my Boston Terrier mix (Lulu) who was a nightmare on a leash. She constantly pulled and had leash aggression issues. I purchased a package of personal training sessions and have been extremely happy with the results. The training was for me, as much as it was for Lulu. Quinn was really flexible and super easy to work with. Our training sessions started at home but we soon branched out to places like Petco and eventually downtown Dunedin. Lulu has come a long way since her first training session. She now knows several commands and walks nicely beside me on her leash. We are still working to improve her confidence when meeting new dogs on a leash but I continue to see improvement with each new outing. If you have a pup in need of manners, I highly recommend Quinn.
Ali is a lovely person who clearly loves animals and loves working with them. My dog is crazy about her and I am happy to have found someone like her to entrust my fur baby to. Can't say enough good things about her.
She is a fine trainer with a good understand of the dog and owner. she is patient and consiiderate. Her knowledge of dogs is vast if she don't know she finds out.
Neil is one of the best dog trainers I know. It's all about the dog. He is very passionate and dedicated in his work. One of the most knowledgeable in this industry. I would highly recommend Neil to train your dog.
Our dogs loved Carissa and leaving them with her was stress free. She was kind and responsive to there needs. Just what we needed in a pet sitter
Lane has a true understanding of dogs. I Met lane walking around downtown Dunedin when my GSD (German Shepherd dog) was about 4 months old(about a year ago). We spoke of a mutual love for the breed and how both of our grandparents were involved in K9 training (my grandfather was a k9 judge). Lane never pushed a service our a sales pitch on me he asked me some questions about my GSD. I let him know I was working with a trainer but at times my puppy seemed to rule us. He then told me he moved to the area and is training dogs here and if i ever needed help to call him (His expertise includes guard dogs, behaviors, advance training). During the past year we still were working with the original trainer who was very good as well. Something was missing though and we both felt that we taught my GSD everything we could but, he had a hurdle. You see my GSD would see other dogs and become over stimulated and hard to control and this started at about 7 months old ( He is a very intelligent and high drive GSD who's a sweetheart but stubborn.). He would jump on everybody not listen and tend to be just a brat. With dogs though he would bark aggressively and scare other people even though he just wanted to play he also seemed to be scared of them. So my trainer said let's take some time off and figure out something later. My wife and I talked about how he just needed to age and mellow but I felt this could not wait. I also mentioned how we met Lane and we should call him, but we were feeling a little discouraged and felt it may be better to wait. The next afternoon on the way to the beach I saw Lane walking two dogs and told my wife it's a sign let's just call him and try it. Lane gave us a free consultation that was over an hour. He then gave us his feedback and gave us pricing that was very competitive to any big box store but his is one on one. The difference with Lane though has been dramatic already, he truly has a passion and love for his career. After just a few weeks my GSD has improved with not only his old training but new training as well. My GSD is walking better on leash, reacting less and learning to be a companion and not pushing to be an alpha. Lanes knowledge of reading a dog has been honed since a young age and it shows. My GSD not only loves to go to training but now acts as if Lane is part of the family. My GSD is calmer and now looks for me to command him. We are not perfect by any means (its only been 4 weeks) but I truly believe with Carters k9s my GSD will be perfect and a dog that my grandfather would adore. Ask about the tree stump!
