Ed is a great tennis instructor. I was nervous because I never played sports, I didn't know if I would be able to learn tennis. He was so great at explaining the strokes. I couldn't believe I was actually having some incredible shots!

Gordon is an excellent tennis instructor. We play once a week and I have huge progress. He is very patient and constructive. He knows all little details on how the moves and positions should work. I strongly recommend him. He has been teaching tennis for many years and knows how to make sure that you learn fast. He is also very pleasant to work with. I am always happy hen I work with him.

When I first watched tennis, I thought it was going to be really easy. Unfortunately, I quickly found out the opposite when I picked up a racquet. Through Coach Meneses' guidance I have been able to really understand the fundamentals of tennis and develop a love for a throughly difficult sport. He is patient and encouraging while maintaining a strong level of professionalism and a fun environment. Most definitely a coach worth learning under!

Coach Diego has been more than just a coach to our son, he has been an amazing mentor to him. We are so happy we met Diego early on in our son's tennis journey. He made tennis fun and fresh every day they worked together. Anyone who has the privilege of working with Diego will be very happy with their childs' results on the tennis court and their childs' attitude about the game in general. I see too many kids with poor sportsmanship while they are playing. Diego has taught Jacob to be a good sportsman no matter what the outcome may be in a match. We highly recommend him!

About

Schedules are as follows: Adults: Everyday, except Saturday Children: M, W, F Tots: Saturdays, 12 pm Aikido is a self-defense, non-competitive martial art that emphasizes blending with an opponent's attack. The movements are designed to coordinate the defending and attacking bodies in order to redirect the natural flow and energy of the attack and neutralize it. In this way, aikido harmonizes all motion in a positive way instead of trying to conflict with it. A basic premise of aikido is that the mind, body, and spirit must act together. The philosophy, ideals, and ethics of aikido are inseparable from the actual physical training. In order to lead another person into circular motion, we must first be in control of ourselves and be the stable, energized center. Aikido is a multidimensional martial training system. Students gain a deeper knowledge of many aspects of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Some of the physical benefits are: improved coordination, increased strength, greater stamina, increased flexibility, better posture and balance, and improved overall cardiovascular fitness. Aikido techniques also facilitate concentration, develop sensitivity, and promote relaxation. Through serious aikido training, one develops the ability to respond positively to stressful situations. As one's awareness and focusing ability is enhanced, balance and calmness are easier to attain and maintain. Training in aikido helps nurture a strong, yet supple and relaxed, body as well as a calm, clear mind. At Gold Coast Aikikai, we recognize the importance of incorporating daily training and forming daily habits for developing physical, mental, and emotional discipline throughout one's life. Our school offers aikido classes for adults and children. We promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage a family-like atmosphere while teaching important skills for self-defense training.

About

Yoga Bio and Style Christina Armenti took her first yoga class in 2009 during college at the University of Central Florida's recreation center. She quickly knew there was something special about it, practicing once a month or so until she moved to Miami in 2012 and found herself in love with the yoga community. Upon moving to Miami Beach, she integrated yoga into her lifestyle on a weekly, and then eventually, daily basis. She found refuge in yoga with her high-demand stressful corporate life and quickly new the healing it provided her from past experiences in life, her herniated disk she once ruptured in 2009, allowing her a sense of inner stability, and was able to learn how to heal herself naturally through the art of yoga for her mind, body, and soul. She made the decision in August 2014 to pursue her 200 hours yoga teacher training as it started with a thought that she naturally embraced. Christina always encompasses positive motivation throughout her classes and favors meditation before and after a class. Her style is vinyasa, incorporating breathing technique coupled with Kundalini Mantras from time to time while ensuring you have received a good sweat, teaching multilevel and having her students feel a sense of inner peace after they leave. You may find Christina anywhere from traditional to new age while incorporating mantras, upbeat tunes, or music that soothes the soul as she enjoys making you feel you are somewhere where you have never been before. She enjoys taking her students beyond their limits and clearing blockages they never knew they had. Christina considers herself a natural-born healer and has a passion for healing people through the art of yoga.
