I was looking for self defense training in order to learn how to protect myself. I found Onyx Fitness Training and it was one of the best decisions that I have made! They went over basic jiu jitsu and striking style techniques and I noticed that my core is a lot stronger! They were very nice and welcoming. I really enjoy training here! They also have a full gym for weight training as well! I am more excited than ever because not only am I learning self defense, but I am seeing drastic changes towards my body as well! I can I explain the appreciation for anna! Not only is she helping me get fit, she also motivates you! You can see the results after the first session not even exaggerating! It's unbelievable!!! The one on one sessions at her home gym which is fully equipped and welcoming are the best! I have never had a personal trainer before her and I've been to the gym but the trainers there do not seem to care much for their bodies. On the other hand, anna gives me work outs which she does herself and has videos to show me how the exercises are supposed to be done. She has a lot of patience and is willing to give all her knowledge if you're willing to put in the effort!! Best decision I have ever taken!!
It's been great! Before working with Get Fit, I was intimidated towards going to the gym as often as I should and especially in teaming up with a trainer. I was afraid a trainer would push me in a way that I didn't like and one that I would eventually turn away from. The Get Fit Team, however is very approachable. They've been able to accommodate to my excercise habits and scheduling and push me towards building on that. I've learned a lot about myself, my body, and the excersizes that work best for my goals. I've still got a long way to go to reach the ultimate physique, but I'm glad I found the right team to work with.
Julian is an awesome trainer. He's punctual, detail oriented and thorough and keeps the workout interesting. He keeps motivating you throughout the session to continue with the workout. He created a personalized training plan which focuses a lot on Cardio, correct posture, stretching and a lot of body weight exercises. That would help me with training without having access to a gym. I highly recommend Julian!
I do personal training 3 times a week and enjoy his honesty & work ethic. Bentley is extremely accommodating and let's me pick the times and days I can workout. He is very honest even when I don't like what he has to say. Exercising and lifting weights is not a quick fix to losing weight but with Bentley's advice and coaching, it's getting easier. I'm 43 years old and I want to lose 40 pounds and not for a few months but for life. I believe Bentley is setting me up to accomplish my goals. I highly recommend him.

Ricardo is very attentive and professional. In two trains he heard my issues and was very respectful of my limits, all while still pushing me and keeping me motivated. You can tell that he is very knowledgeable in his field and knows how to do a variety of things (water training, trx, weight-lifting is what I have experienced this far). I can't rave enough about his water training. Let's just say it's much more that 'water aerobics', I am young and relatively fit and I was able to reach my limits. I am hooked, hired him full time and hope to keep working with him in the future. Highly recommended! Definitely worth a consultation.
Thanks to Svetness my two sons and I are in great shape. My two sons kept telling me I was getting too fat and they wanted me to lose weight. They had been working out with a Svetness trainer and they told me if I would work out they would work out with me to help motivate me. Now we all work out together in my basement. My blood pressure has now dropped and I am eating more healthy.

There are quite a few trainers that are knowledgeable but I have found them lacking in other areas. I have tried to work with trainers in the past and just felt they were going “through the motions”. Hannah is certainly knowledgeable but her enthusiasm and investedness in your personal goals is humbling. She really cares about her clients and their goals!
Eric is a wonderful Trainer who truly cares about fitness. My physique has improved tremendously and he provided education on how to eat yummy healthy foods that support my weight loss goals without starvation. I highly recommend his services.

I started Gym with Jim at the beginning of 2012 after not losing enough at a local weight loss center. I wanted to look and feel better and stay flexible as middle age set in. He revamped my diet to suit my likes and dislikes and the way I lived, but i wouldn't always behave. I didn't feel like sticking to it or working out and he was great about everything. He wouldn't let me give up. He was patient and encouraging. I mean that's the best thing about the guy. You really have someone on your side who is kind and wants the best for you and will creatively figure out how to get there. It's not 'tough love' you want to run away from. It's a way of life with workouts that are challenging yet fun. The time flies by. I hope he never stops being a trainer. My results were slow, but sure. He reshaped my body so I feel okay about my next beach vacation. I still want to lose a few more pounds. I've not been rushing it even though I know he could achieve that through a more aggressive workout plan, but I'm sick of "campaigns". I want to arrive at my goal with a stable diet/exercise routine, eating what I like, drinking wine, and no more yo-yo-ing. Jimmy got me to this place after two years and made my life better. He's a positive, uplifting guy with a good sense of humor who's always professional. He has a gentle approach, never making you feel bad about yourself. I'm spoiled at this point so I don't know how I'd ever replace him. In fact, one of my sons started doing workouts with him a few months ago because he wasn't getting enough physical activity at school/sports and was looking unhealthy like he was carrying extra weight around. He is now much improved and happier so I'm happier. Thank you!

Brian has been my personal trainer for over a year. He was very good at motivating me to push hard even on days when I didn't think I could do it. Brian is very knowledgeable with equipment in the gym and what foods and supplements to use or avoid to get the best results. The workouts can be really tough but I saw the results by keeping at it. For losing weight, did combination of weight training with high intensity cardio and Brian told me exactly what to eat and drink before and after the workout to get the most out of the session. I am almost 50 years old yet after a year of training, I feel like 30 years old and feel strong. When you pick Brian as your trainer, he will take care of all the details of what to do and he will make sure you do proper form to get the most out of each exercise. This also includes adjusting the weight based on your current strength level so that it isn't too easy or too hard but challenging based on the reps he is targeting.
I was going a lot with work and personal life and needed a reprieve. I gave Marley a chance and after just one session I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. The breathing techniques we practiced helped me release a lot of unneeded energy. I signed up for 3 more sessions! I am a mother of three, and have a full time job. I workout 5 days a week and that is my sanity. I was recommended to Tedy at Raw Energy Fitness in 2014 by a friend/ co-worker. I wasn't seeing results with my current trainer, and wanted to shed off 10 pounds. Well 3 years later, I have gotten so much more than that.
