My Cooperative house hired Joey to do a huge themed party and his performance was exceptional. He is very engaging and brings a good vibe and high energy to any party, while presenting a high degree of professionalism. Also his lighting and sound system were really good! All around, great dj/producer to work with and would recommend to anyone.

Hello my name is Barbara Ann. I am an event planner that has a chaotic schedule so it is hard to find people with the amount of authenticity i am originally looking for. I had gotten a personal referral from a friend of mine and originally hired Mr. Paradis for an event that my organization held and I was very impressed with Mr. Paradis’s work authenticity and performance. I wanted to write this review in regards to Joey Paradis’s work performance because he had displayed such charismatic and immense effort towards his interest in spinning his music (Djing) at my events with a professional demeanor both towards my clients that said great feedback in regards to his work performances at different events with different locations and sometimes even the same location which was very courteous of Mr. Paradis. Therefore, i hired him for multiple events and even private Birthday celebrations i had hosted for friends that were also clients of mine and he showed a flexible schedule which i highly appreciated because my schedule itself is chaotic and he showed a persistent yet calm and humbling tone to his personality which resulted in positive feedback from different clients and friends. I was happy to hire Mr. Paradis on numerous occasions. He is very kind and polite and has a french poize to him that impressed most if all my clients and guests that gave me great feedback on the choice of music he would display per event and i honestly never saw him take breaks in between his music sets after i had urged him it was alright he was so polite and courteous. I also remember an event i had him attend to spin his music (DJ) and I had noticed when he told me that he creates all of the music he plays and that was very impressive aside his great demeanor as a person. He has a easy going and humbled personality that makes a room full of people feel very comfortable and like they are welcomed even by the music he plays. I first had him spin his music (DJ) at my private events at the Polo & Racket Club where he showed a charismatic and bright personality and aside his music he spinned with very nice equipment. I also liked how he could set his equipment up in different locations and climates which was also very impressive. Always arriving 15-20 min early he showed an immense amount of ambition. most of my clients and guests were from upscale companies that held private auctions and i started receiving such great feedback from my clients, friends, and guests that i begun to hire Mr. Paradis on numerous occasions and i would like to still have Mr. Paradis’s work performance at future events i host and social gatherings because he compliments a crowd of people and creates an active and fun tone to his music that is humbling to my clients and guests. And because of this outstanding demeanor Mr. Paradis shows at my professional events i host i had asked him to bring his music and great personality to multiple private Birthday Celebrations that i hosted for different friends that were also good clients of mine. He also is very knowledgeable in nutrition and health which i noticed and was happy to hear about as well as a couple clients of mine that were successful within the fitness industry. He has an authenticity that is rare to find or come across in life. If you hire Mr. Paradis you will be as grateful as i am. Thank you.

Joey Paradis is a consummate audio professional, both as a dj as wells as an audio engineer and studio producer. Highly skilled at musical selection, he has honed his craft to a fine point over the years, releasing music in his own right across a number of digital imprints while entertaining crowds ranging from intimate gatherings to large scale events with thousands in attendance.

Joey was the dj at our wedding reception and he did a great job! Weddings are stressful but he alleviated some anxiety with his calm demeaner and professionalism.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer competive pricing based on industry standerds
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we have come to terms I would ask for a 100 dollar deposit to reserve date.
This can be paid via Thumbtack or Paypal ether way I issue an Invoice for deposit and an invoice for the remaining balance after the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a DJ/ producer for 2 decades having spent the early years of my career playing Dance Clubs.
Now I offer a new Mobile Dj service for Special events here in Santa Barbara County.
Traveling beyond a hundred-mile radius would require an industry standard of 55 cents per mile.
