Introduction: Express yourself! I am a professional musical actress, singer, and public speaker with over 35 years of experience. I am presently accepting new students for private lessons in voice, acting, and/or public speaking. I work with kids (by evaluation) through seniors, and I am happy to also work with students with emotional or physical challenges. I customize my lessons to the specific needs of each student. I will help you to build your confidence and rid yourself of any fear issues. If you have always wanted to sing, act, or have the confidence to get up and speak in front of an audience, then just do it! I will help you every step of the way! Lessons are $40 per 30 minutes, $60 per 45 minutes and $80 per hour.

Gayle has taught me so much more than how to sing. I have tapped into parts of myself I wasn't aware of, and through singing, I've been able to work through my grief, shame, and anxiety. I look forward to lessons with her - it's like therapy for me, and I'm finally gaining the confidence to sing in front of other people!

Working with Gayle has been a wonderful experience. I came to her for voice lessons, but overtime I realized that I am gaining so much more. She is highly skilled and makes me feel so comfortable. Gayle has not only helped me with the technical aspect of singing, but she understands that singing is more of an emotional experience. I am 56 years old and have spent my entire life (to this point) assuming I could not sing and was always envious of those who could. I assumed singing is something you were born with and that I was someone who did not receive that gene!! Gayle has proved me wrong (as well as all my music teachers in elementary school up through high school) Gayle is a natural teacher and is giving me the confidence to use my voice!! I am grateful for having found her and making me realize that everyone can sing! It just takes practice like any other activity!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My lessons are $40 per 1/2 hour, $60 per 45 minutes and $80 per hour. I offer a discount if paid a month in advance.. but this is not a requirement.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always suggest to new clients that they schedule 1 initial lesson so that I may evaluate them and then discuss how I will customize their lessons to match their specific needs. It is also important that they evaluate my lesson to make sure they will be happy and confident with me and my teaching techniques, as all teachers are different in their approach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied voice and acting privately for 10 years. In addition to teaching, my teacher was also a Director and Producer and I was blessed to have "on the job " training. By the age of 16, I was a professional Musical Actress working in NYC.
