Excellent music teacher and music school. My children were at another music school, and were demotivated to study music. In fact one teacher asked one of them if they were interested in music? Which in my opinion is the hallmark of demotivating any learner in any instructional discipline. My older children were then in grades 1 and 3 in primary school. We moved them quickly to Sybil's studio and the interest of the teacher was exceptional. And they did very well in piano and woodwind, and also in the CXC's . They were so well motivated that they did classes during their university years. Sybil's music studio
not only manifested their musical gifts, but it provided them with good friends, and the time spent learning musical skills kept them out of mischief.The community was also blessed with their musical performances.Without hesitation or pressure I sincerely recommend this music school to the parent, child or individual who wants to become adept in playing a musical instrument.

My Daughters have been doing lessons with Ms. Sybil for the past 5 years. She is an awesome music teacher. she knows how to get the most out of her students. She is gentle yet firm when she has to be. I like the variety of instruments that she does lessons for, not limited to just the piano and violin. I like the online option as well where we log on from home (or where there is internet) and the lesson is taught. That way I am home and able to get my work done.

Over a period of two years I observed Sybils Music teaching classes on line and in her studio teaching students from as young as three years old to adult age. At the recitals I went to the students were enthused to demonstrate their progress. Many students received merlt and distinction on ABRSM exams. Sybil is very experienced in on line interactive live teaching with students from several countries. Your own proficiency playing music or singing will progress well whether you are a beginner or are advanced. Sybil is a warm friendly teacher who will focus on helping you learn.

My daughters have taken lessons in violin and voice with Sybil's for over 2 years and the results have been amazing. The online classes provide the flexibility that we need as we live in a remote area and with a busy job I have less time to drive them to and from lessons. The discipline of attending classes and learning music has helped them with their attitude/approach to their school studies and participating in the live music recitals has given their confidence the boost they both needed.
