Maureen is awesome!!! I hired her to help me with Gracie,my 3 year old chocolate lab rescue. I was at wit's end with Gracie pulling me down the sidewalk during walks, her barking, and her general "enthusiasm" for everything!!! I can't believe the difference! Maureen explains what's going on inside my dog's head when she's doing something she shouldn't be doing and, more important, how to address that behavior. She's really helped me understand how to look at some of these negative behaviors from a dog's point of view. Gracie and I have learned so much!!! Maureen also worked with my older, golden retriever, Maggie. I can see such a big difference in Gracie's and Maggie's behavior. I can honestly say that hiring Maureen was the best decision I could make! If you are looking for somebody who loves what she does and really makes a difference in your dog's life then hire Maureen. Trust me, you won't be sorry!!!

David was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. The training far exceeded our expectations within the 30 minutes and by the end of the first hour we could already see a tremendous improvement in our dogs behaviors. We have been using everything that David has taught us every day and our lives and our dogs lives are better for it. I would highly recommend a session with David!

Martha really helped me and my wife get our very independent, stubborn and energetic newly adopted dog on the same page. Her teaching technique is easy to understand and non-judgemental. She works on what is needed and makes an individual plan for each animal. Best of all, she looks at the family as a whole and addresses not just the dog's behavior but the people's behavior that sends the wrong signals to the dog. It was a great experience and I'd strongly recommend her to anyone.

Our 1 year old Blue Heeler was out of control. We needed help. Zeus couldn't be walked because he would bark and cry (like he himself was hit by a car) every time he saw another car/dog/bike/person. It was horrifying not just for us, but for the people in the cars/walking. We have had 2 other training classes .. 1 group puppy training ( we were asked to leave because he was disrupting the other puppies ) and 1 on 1 training at the local pet store .. after the 8 sessions and reinforcing all the bad behavior the trainer said she couldn't do anything for him. After phone interviewing several trainers I opted to go with Luis and we are so glad we did!! Luis is amazing!! (we knew this after the 1st session) We've now had 4 training sessions, and my daughter who had never walked Zeus was walking thru Publix parking lot on a Friday afternoon .. with cars & tons of people with a well behaved dog!! Luis is patient, kind and has worked with the entire family individually and together so we can all have Zeus under control. We've come a long way in a short amount of time thanks to Luis .. We highly recommend him!

I hired Rose because she uses techniques that do not require involved or specialized equipment, like a prong or e- collar. She emphasizes the behavior of the dog and how to work with the individual dogs personality in order to correct the behavior with words and hand signals, v. treats, clickers or rough equipment. She has been very helpful for my dogs, who really had issues walking on the leash. After only 5 sessions, they are perfect on leash. If you have want a trainer who emphasizes praise-based training, v. treats etc, then Rose is the person for you!

Tampa Pet Sitters (TPS) is wonderful! They are always on time and flexible to the owner's schedules. They treat your pet as their own and I feel very comfortable knowing my animal is being cared, schedule changes can be made and that my home is also cared for during visits. The owner of the company delivers amazing customer service, regardless if it's a phone call, an email or a posting through the very easy to use website. Always timely and puts the customer first! Lastly, TPS publishes wonderful updates to pet sitting and things to consider for your personal sitter. Love that they remind me to leave old towels accessible during rainy season to keep my dog and home clean.

excellent pet care service provider... has been extremely flexible with schedule changes and short notices. He came to our house several times a day last time when our dog was sick to give him medicine instead of risking him being around other animals. Josh is very knowledgable of animals, their needs & always available....highly recomended!

Toby is a rescue Chiweenie with a fear of men and workboots he was also very reactive to other dogs. His household behavior was untamed although he is housebroken. He also was unruly on a leash. After a very short time he follows the commands place, quiet, heel, off, and occasionally sit (still has a bit of work to do there) I even walked him out into the yard without a leash! A big change from the dog who bolted out and down the street whenever the door opened! thanks Christina he's become a joy to live with. I loved him before but a well behaved Toby is even easier to love!

It's important to me to have someone who really loves animals to take care of my fur baby. Ally is an angel who treated my kitty as good as I do myself! She would play with her and give her loving attention as well as feed her and scoop her litter. I never worried at all when she was watching her. She loves her work and it shows!

So far it has been an excellent experience. I have had all my questions answered promptly and the first visit with my dogs went very well. I think my animals will be well taken care of while I’m away.

I have known Teresa and her pack for several years. She always takes such great care of her own animals. I admire her connection to them and would trust her with my own if the need should arise for a pet sitter. Her gentle personality will make you feel comfortable leaving your own furbabies with her.

Quinn worked with one of my daily dog walking clients, Blue. Blue is 130+lbs of pure muscle and strength at the young age of 9mths. He did not walk well on his leash, was reactive to other dogs when on leash and had major issues with lunging at box trucks and other animals. After spending two weeks in Board & Train with Quinn, Blue’s behavior has completely changed! He walks effortlessly on his leash with his head held high. He no longer reacts to other leashed dogs nor does he lunge at animals or box trucks! Quinn was willing to work with myself and the sitter I have assigned to Blue’s daily walks to ensure a smooth transition. Quinn is extremely skilled and very professional. I highly recommend his services to my clients on a regular basis.

Lane has a true understanding of dogs. I Met lane walking around downtown Dunedin when my GSD (German Shepherd dog) was about 4 months old(about a year ago). We spoke of a mutual love for the breed and how both of our grandparents were involved in K9 training (my grandfather was a k9 judge). Lane never pushed a service our a sales pitch on me he asked me some questions about my GSD. I let him know I was working with a trainer but at times my puppy seemed to rule us. He then told me he moved to the area and is training dogs here and if i ever needed help to call him (His expertise includes guard dogs, behaviors, advance training). During the past year we still were working with the original trainer who was very good as well. Something was missing though and we both felt that we taught my GSD everything we could but, he had a hurdle. You see my GSD would see other dogs and become over stimulated and hard to control and this started at about 7 months old ( He is a very intelligent and high drive GSD who's a sweetheart but stubborn.). He would jump on everybody not listen and tend to be just a brat. With dogs though he would bark aggressively and scare other people even though he just wanted to play he also seemed to be scared of them. So my trainer said let's take some time off and figure out something later. My wife and I talked about how he just needed to age and mellow but I felt this could not wait. I also mentioned how we met Lane and we should call him, but we were feeling a little discouraged and felt it may be better to wait. The next afternoon on the way to the beach I saw Lane walking two dogs and told my wife it's a sign let's just call him and try it. Lane gave us a free consultation that was over an hour. He then gave us his feedback and gave us pricing that was very competitive to any big box store but his is one on one. The difference with Lane though has been dramatic already, he truly has a passion and love for his career. After just a few weeks my GSD has improved with not only his old training but new training as well. My GSD is walking better on leash, reacting less and learning to be a companion and not pushing to be an alpha. Lanes knowledge of reading a dog has been honed since a young age and it shows. My GSD not only loves to go to training but now acts as if Lane is part of the family. My GSD is calmer and now looks for me to command him. We are not perfect by any means (its only been 4 weeks) but I truly believe with Carters k9s my GSD will be perfect and a dog that my grandfather would adore. Ask about the tree stump!
