John J. says, "I had a fiberglass “pop-in” tub/shower which had cracked and was leaking. Nick MacKenzie (owner) came over to assess the job, measure and give an estimate. I had another identical tub/shower and I wanted to replace both with a walk in shower. He gave me estimates for replacing the fiberglass for one or both and also remodeling in tile for one or both. There wasn’t much price difference and I knew tile was the higher quality option so I replaced both with a tile walk in shower. Communication was excellent. The entire project took a week. Thankfully I have a third full bathroom to use during this. I’m sure he would have done one at a time if necessary. He and his tile crew were respectful of my home (and pet cat) and cleaned up every day before they left. I’m very glad I found this company! Nick is the third generation owner of a family plumbing company from MA who has been in the Orlando area only a few years and has more requests than they can accept. They ripped out all the old carpet in the main living areas and laid tile throughout—it looks great and should hold up much better over time. The whole first floor feels more open and connected now. The staircase was in rough shape before they got to it, but they completely rebuilt it in red oak. The workmanship is incredible—every step is solid and beautifully finished. It’s now one of the best-looking features in the house. One of my favorite updates was the fireplace. They retiled the whole thing with really nice stone, and it’s become the focal point of the living room. Totally transformed the space. They also handled some electrical work—added outlets where we actually needed them and brought everything up to code. No shortcuts, just done right. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything went. They finished on time, stuck to the budget, and kept the place clean throughout. No drama, no surprises on the bill.
