Introduction: My clients most appreciate my simple and up front pricing. The pricing approach of An Affair of Excellence is another demonstration of how we strive to eliminate stress from our clients. When a budget is agreed upon, that is the final number. I carefully prepare a proposal that will include everything the client needs from the set-up crew, venue and caterer, to the invitations and parting favors, and clean-up crew. I require a 50% deposit to begin booking and paying vendors and the remainder is due on the day of the event. One budget, one price, two payments. The rest is up to us!
I love taking a simple description of a vision, a few words about a party, a clients favorite colors or even style of music, and personifying it into an actual event. I love their reaction when they see their words come to life in the decor, food, atmosphere, and quality of their event.

I initially hired An Affair of Excellence to coordinate and plan an event in my home state, Oklahoma. I was concerned that this might be difficult given the distance but much to my delight, AOE did an AMAZING job!
I was continually impressed at the details Annette demonstrated in planning and coordinating this important family event and do do such an amazing job being 1,700 miles away was even more impressive.
Small things that Annette did included, weekly calls with me to make sure my desires and preferences were reflected in all decisions, creating keepsakes for the event, providing various options within my budget and establishing a relationship with the venue and individuals (family) that were remote. It was simply outstanding.
AOE did an excellent job of connecting us with the right venues as well as the right menus and caterers and the event was a great success. Due to their attention to detail, constant budget awareness, and true commitment to excellence, I recommend them to anyone who is interested in having an event locally or remote. Thank you AOE!

I have two children whose birthdays are close whereas I decided to throw them a combination party! I needed assistance in undertaking this since I still wanted to make a joint party special for each child. Annette Hemphill from An Affair of Excellence came highly recommended by a friend. I couldnt be more pleased with the choice! The party was a smash and both kids were over the moon! Annette went above and beyond to create a birthday party they both enjoyed, as well as the grown-ups!
I was truly impressed with the attention to detail, the organization and the quality of service. Annette arrived early which was fantastic for me because I am always a tad behind! She quickly helped set up, help me finish the few tasks I wanted to contribute and delegated all the help to swiftly get everything in place for the guests to arrive. She was amazing.

Turning 35 may not be a milestone event in any one person's life, but it was for me. I wanted more than anything to have a lovely night with my dearest friends. I had that and more thanks to Annette!
What I thought was going to be a very simple dinner and drinks was a stress LESS, worry free, night full of laughs and good memories. Annette planned a beautiful private dinner at the chef's table covered with long stem roses, balloons, and smiling friends!
Near the start of our evening, I thought I might have a mini heart attack. I had a friend show up without an RSVP. I wasn't sure what we were going to do. According to the restaurant, the space only accommodated the ladies that had RSVP'd. Annette made sure she was welcomed with open arms and a seat at the table. What could have been a turning event for the night was barely a blip on our radar. Annette handled the situation to the point that it was like it never even happened. I was incredibly grateful in that moment. It was seamless!
Much to my surprise, after we finished dinner I was escorted to another table hiding in the bar, reserved for yours truly! The table was candlelit, rose covered, accompanied with CHAMPAGNE, chocolate cake, and just the right touch of sparkle! As if the champagne wasn't enough! It was absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks to Annette a had a lovely evening. I couldn't have asked for anything more. This was by far the best birthday celebration I've ever had. I highly recommend Annette Hemphill. Her work ethic and attention to detail will most certainly yield the event that will far exceed your dreams!

An Affair of Excellence organized a corporate networking affair at Orlando's Citrus Club that was elegant and tasteful. The combination of light appetizers and beverages served discreetly during the presentations in just the right-sized space was seamless and well thought out. I would definitely recommend Annette and her team and look forward to organizing future events with her in Orlando!

Annette Hemphill is a top-notch event planner! I have most recently attended a Superbowl party that she hosted. The food, decorations, and drinks were all fabulous! She even dressed up to match the theme of the party! She takes careful note of the little details that make the party POP. She spends so much time before the event, to make sure all the details are planned out, that she is able to enjoy the event herself! She has an electric personality that makes people feel wanted and welcome!! I would definitely trust any event I was planning, big or small, to Annette and An Affair of Excellence!
