We love Ms. Karen, she is super sweet. Very flexible with our schedule. Our daughter loves learning from her and enjoyed her lessons- we plan to do family swimming lessons with her soon. Thanks Ms. Karen!
Our daughter has been attending classes here for a little over two weeks and we couldn't be more happy with her progress. When we started, she wouldn't even get her face wet. Now she says her favorite thing is swimming underwater! (At least until she gets in the water again!) But no matter how much she screams, Miss Shydonna always takes the time to teach her (and the other kids in the class) the next step and keeps gently nudging her along. This has been a really good experience.
Called quickly and was able to get lessons started right away for a fair price
Shea is a wonderful teacher! This was our first experience with swim lessons and my daughter learned above and beyond what I expected her to learn. Miss Shea is great with the kids, even when the kids are having a hard day in general, she gets them in the water and swimming! I highly recommend Miss Shea for swimming lessons!!!
I am loving it. However, was very disappointed that we made a verbal agreement to charge my account for only February and I would revisit whether to commit to March only to find out they debit my account for March without permission. The instructors I'm working with are amazing and I am so pleased and excited to learn how to swim at my age.
Over the course of 6 years, I've had or tried several trainers so I feel like I can speak from experience. When I met Sophia I had taken too long of a break from regular workouts. Sophia was patient with me as she helped me to build my strength at the same time lose fat and gain confidence. Her informative while still friendly approach made me look forward to my workouts as I knew even though I was working hard and getting results, I was also laughing and having fun.
Christina is great with kids. My 2 year old is not so sure about getting in the water, but she is so calm and makes him feel so at ease. She knows how to teach kids how to swim. Just with a couple classes an my kids are learning. I would recommend her any time with my eyes closed! Good job Christina!
I've been swimming all my life, so I would like to help others increase in their swimming as well as I've learned.
We offer both group and private lessons in Orlando, Florida. We recommend that you attend the lessons at our location. We also offer private, at your location or home lessons for families who would prefer a more private setting. Our lessons are based on teaching your children how to swim through games and through play. Group classes have a maximum of four students in each class. Classes are offered two or three days a week. Each class session is four weeks long. The students in Mommy, Daddy and Me classes start at six months old and are offered two and three days a week. Safety Technique 1, 2 and 3 is the next level and is open to children 24 months and older. Group stroke lessons are also available. A description of each class can be found on our website. Here is a little about Jillian: Lane 4 Swim School was established in 2005 by Jillian Martin. Jillian has been involved in the swimming world since 1991 and has been an instructor for the past 11 years. Locally, Jillian competed for Team Orlando and Trinity Aquatic Team (now Trinity Prep Aquatics). While attending school at Bishop Moore Catholic High School, she was a two-time Florida state champion in the breaststroke events. While attending the University of Maryland, College Park, she swam competitively for the varsity swim team from 1999 to 2003. Jillian was extremely successful during her college years. She earned, among many other achievements, NCAA Division Martin All-American Honors in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke, was an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion in the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard medley relay and earned All-ACC honors in nine events. She was fortunate to undertake community service projects with the University of Maryland varsity swim team to teach swimming to underprivileged children in College Park, Maryland. These projects helped Jillian realize how much she enjoyed sharing her love of water with children. During the last two years of her college career, Jillian was the head coach of the University of Maryland Terrapin Masters swim team. This team includes swimmers from ages 18 to 100 of various skill levels. Most of these team members were there for social reasons and to stay in shape, but others included those who competed at the United States Masters swimming and the United States Triathlon Association national levels. After college, Jillian continued competitive swimming with the Ft. Lauderdale swim team (currently named Ft. Lauderdale Aquatics), under the direction of Duffy Dillon and Jack Nelson. Jillian considers it a great privilege and honor to work with and learn from them both. Her competitive swimming career ended on a high note at the 2004 USA Olympic swimming trials in Long Beach, California. Currently, Jillian has focused all of her energy to building the best swimming program available to parents in the Central Florida area. This includes accepting a coaching position as head coach for Bishop Moore Catholic High School men's and women's swimming and diving in 1998. She continues to enjoy sharing her knowledge and experience with the young athletes and parents, while building another top high school aquatics program in Central Florida. Even though she has finished competitive swimming, the competitor in Jillian is still alive and kicking. In her free time, she has enjoyed turning her attention to cycling and triathlons. Jillian shares her love of the water with you!
Thanks to you I lost 15 lbs and have toned up after having my 4th baby !! Your motivation pushed me to reach my goals and maintain them !! Thank you so very much :)
Bridget trained me in individual and group training for 3 years before relocating. From my first day of working out with her she dedicated time with me first and foremost discussing my fitness goals and health background. Each session we had was rigorous and included a full body workout as well as a one on one stretch afterwards. When I pulled a muscle in my back Bridget created an individual rehabilitation plan for me to do and also performed stretches that got me back in full swing in a month when the doctor told me I would be out for 2 weeks! If we lived in the same city she would hands down still be my trainer!
I am a former Red Cross water safety instructor trainer. I taught teachers how to teach children how to swim! I am also a lifeguard instructor trainer who teach how to train Red Cross lifeguards. Some Waterfront directors help pay my extras in college. I have more than 30 years of experience. Every person in Florida must know how to swim!
If you are interested in providing your young child with every advantage to keep them safe in or near the water, I can help your child develop confidence in the water through Infant Swimming Resource's self-rescue program.
I'm so happy to have found Rafael! I was in an accident that required surgery, chiropractic care and physical therapy. However, I know from past experience that massage therapy is crucial to the healing process. Within just 2 sessions, he has significantly helped to decrease the pain associated with my migraines, muscle spasms and sciatica. My husband can't wait for his turn :) He truly has a gift and I highly recommend his services!
I learned how to swim at the age of 7 from a lifeguard. I've had a pool in every place I lived. Ever since, I'm an experienced swimmer, and I can teach you how to swim.
