- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For very small, short time-frame traditional ceremonies (sometimes, the next day!!!!) my fee is $125. For larger weddings, when the date is farther out, I devote more of my time, with meetings and phone calls. I work with the couple in writing their individual vows (I have a book to choose from) then my fee is $150 . If I'm asked to be at the rehearsal, I only charge an additional $25. There is an additional charge for holidays.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If time allows, I like to meet with the couple at the location where the wedding will be held. At that time, we can discuss details of the wedding. I also have a book of vows that they can take with them, to choose what type of ceremony that they would like to have. I like to get some background on them, how they met, and if they want personal details mentioned in the ceremony. I am also available by phone to discuss any wedding details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Notary, and in Florida, Notaries can officiate weddings. I trained through the National Notary Association.
