FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $35 per hour for work, but work that is less than an hour may be at a slightly higher rate. I also sometimes offer discount rates for work that is projected to be more than ten hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on which kind of work I am doing. Since I do fine art, illustrations, graphic designs, illustrations, editing and proofreading, and art lessons, each type of work may have a different process. For example, I use an iterative process for illustration and graphic design projects that starts with thumbnails, but that wouldn't apply to my other kinds of services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my BA degree, I have 32 credits in studio art classes including courses in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and illustration. I also took a strong concentration in English classes for my writing, proofreading, and editing services. I am a certified art and English teacherI also have a MFA in Media Design including digital art and design software, brand development, and design management courses.
