Hired Joe for my Master Bathroom remodel on a house I just purchased. He claimed to have remodeled thousands of bathrooms doing everything and anything and my project was easy and could be complete in 11 days. Day 1 I was disappointed. I had new floors installed through my 2nd floor. When I get home from work. Dust is everywhere covered all over my floors and furniture. Real professionals would wear booties and cover up their clients floors and furniture. I went and purchased floor paper to prevent shoe/dirt from getting all over the new floors again. We never said anything and just dealt with the cleanup. Please review the photos of completion and all the uneven cuts. All the mess left behind with grout that was never cleaned. Floor tiles that are popping out. I nearly cut my foot open on the tile in front of the toilet. Tiles pop out all over the shower walls. Lines can be seen very badly on ever wall. I would never recommend JR to any friends or family only enemies. But you be the judge with the finished product I paid my hard earned money for him to complete. Besides constantly updating all of our contractor's manuals and code changes, I personally attend required licensing continued education classes and attend contractor's building trade shows to keep up with the most current materials, methods, and systems.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in the real estate business since I finished school. I'm a licensed real estate broker and a general contractor. I've worked for real estate developers and owners for years. I actually own a few rental properties of my own and understand the value maintained and even added through good construction. I love bringing a property to its highest and best use to achieve maximum value.
What types of customers have you worked with?
1) Bathroom & Kitchen. 2) Interior/Exterior Painting. 3) Commercial Tenant Improvement Projects.
