FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have played the guitar since I was 12 years old. It has always been there for me to express myself and let my stress out in the tough times. It doesnt solve your problems but it gives you that release of tension that renews you. I decided about 15 years ago to start giving back, and helping people get the same magic that I get from playing music.I then started teaching. I now teach guitar, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin, and feel blessed to have my students grow from my efforts.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a teacher that cares. Not just someone filling a time slot on a schedule. We are out here....you just have to take the time to look
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Just because you know how to play the guitar, even if its very well, does NOT make you a good teacher. A good teacher needs patience, and have the ability to read their students comprehension of the lessons, and make sure they understand and are comfortable with it. Oh, and did I mention patience as well!?
