Great salesman...Horrible experience. I was initially quoted by Jake to move my 2 bedroom apt from Ft Myers to Virginia for $1600.. I excepted this quote and I left for my new home. The day the movers arrived they told my contact person that my move was under quoted and instead of 475 cubic feet it was 700 cubic feet. After all my stuff was packed up the final bill was $3500.. YES $1600 turned into $3500!! and 900 cubic feet. After calling and complaining multiple times about this I talked to a pleasant supervisor that adjusted my price down $100...really $100. When the movers arrived 4 7 hours late after they asked me to accept delivery at 9:00pm at night, they showed up in a 26" Penske truck. I was 1 of 3 loads on that truck. The movers informed me that my load was a bit smaller then the 1st and a little bigger then the 2nd. So, I went onto Penske's website and looked at the cubic feet capacity of that size truck.. 1400 cubic feet!!! How can that be? Mine was 900 cubic feet right? Some of my items were damaged as well. Needless to say I must be waiting for the "rest" of my stuff to arrive. I will give this company 1 last chance to refund the money that was STOLEN from me before I take legal actions against them and recoup my money and time. I wonder how many other people have been scammed. It is also funny that there is a post from the 17th of September that kind of describes my move with a great experience, I wonder if that was a coincidence or someone from there company writting reviews. I will update my experience and their response.

Absolutely awful experience. Much like a recent post, I was quoted $3500 for my move and then once the movers had everything on the truck at midnight they doubled the price. They also got there 6 hours late with a tiny truck. We had to leave our couch and sofa chair behind because it would have tripled the price. They destroyed my house, destroyed my property (multiple items are completely wrecked) and worst of all when they were gone so was my iPad. My husband and I have been attempting to resolve the issue for two weeks and today the "resolution" I was given was a 10% discount on the move - are you kidding me? $800 for $4000 worth of stolen/damaged goods and I am supposed to feel "better about the experience". Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a professional company. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself the frustration of dealing with these folks. I am now going to have to spend my time filing a police report to recoup my stolen iPad. I have never felt so violated by a company. HORRIBLE - no attempt to make anything "right". Additionally, not only did Jason Stokes lie outright to my husband about the cost of the move he also told him it was "bullshit" when my husband had the nerve to question the increase in pricing. Truly unprofessional.

Sales rep of Remax van lines, offered me a very attractive deal over the phone. He was also very attentive and responsive. He never tried to push me to hire them or never asked for upfront. So, I booked them for my move. It was an office move. I have a small office of 11 employees and recently I moved my office at a different place. However, movers arrived on time with necessary equipment and did not waste any time to begin their work. They took a close look of the stuffs and carefully started to wrap and box everything. They took little time complete the packing and then carefully loaded everything in the truck and moved to the new place. I was very happy to see everything in great condition. There was nothing missing or damaged or broken. They also stored everything at the new place and again completed the task before the allotted time. When the bill came, I was surprised to see that they charged less than the original quote!! It was really an amazing performance by these fine movers. I am very happy with their service and I do wish them a very bright and successful future.

RE MAX VAN LINES IS A SCAM!!!! NOTICE HOW THEY SAY THEY HAVE 30 YEAR'S OF EXPERIENCE! That is very interesting since they just opened in MAY 2012!!! MORE LIKE 7 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE! And They just pay companies to put up bogus good review's that never happened! How couldone company have so many good review'sin 7 month's when they only own 1 truck? There salesman "Jason" who is so ready to help take your deposit/money is really Maxx Socher AKA FINEST MOVER'S, FEDERAL MOVING SYSTEM, ZOOZ TRANSPORTATION, ALL SCAMMER'S and all tied in with Maxx Socher. If you look up him on google he has plastered maxx this.com and that.com to push down all the REAL INFO ON HIM but look at pages 4 and 5 on Google or just type in Maxx Socher moving scams and you will see. I thought this company was part of "Re-Max" Real Estate company (as they have there web-site look just like there's". Well I called and they have NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY. I also was overcharged on my original move price of $2300.00 to $4170.00!!!!! and if i did not pay they said they would "dump it in the street" well ive done my research "just wish i did it sooner" I called the D.O.T and they said they only have insurance for 1 truck and the multiple truck's they show you are to make you believe "they do the entire move", when in fact i never had a "re-max" van pick me up nor deliver me.I also called the DOT and found out they company only ones 1 truck and they put in they have many to make it look like they do the entire move.Well the D.O.T is now looking into that. I found out this company broker's the deliveries out as the guy who delivered my thing's said he was just a sub-contracter that re-max hired to deliver my thing's "which i am missing 8 boxes" what a nightmare BEWARE!!!
