Introduction

My wealth of knowledge having worked with A-List clients accumulating 13 Grammys along my 18 years in the Audio industry is one big reason what makes me stand out from other audio engineers. Also my previous artist background I know both sides of the creative recording process. Psychologically,,, and most of all ,I am an artist's mixer. I just love the whole entire creative process. Whether its recording vocals,guitar, or drums to helping a person finish writing vocals. Sometimes its jus consulting an artist or their manager on whats the best route to take for their vision. Lately I have been doing alot of wiring of home studios and helping the client pick out the right gear for their workflow. I wear many hats , I love anything audio.

Michael has been working with me to organise and improve my home studio set up. Michael came to my house, quickly assessed what accoustic treatments I needed, advised and recommended what audio gear i needed to create the best workflows. Once I had all the gear in place, Michael set up my workspace in a way that allows me to spend less time setting up my gear , giveing me more time to play and work on creativity. All I can say about Mike is that he loves his job and knows every single aspect of it. He's polite, not a big ego person. For all that this guy knows he's very humble. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Calling them and get a brief understanding what their overall vision or purpose is for the job so I can better help them get there in a cost effective way but without sacrificing quality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Fullsail Univ. Orlando,FL with an Associate's Degree(94.5 & Perfect Attendance) Constantly watching youtube HOW-TO's videos on how to do different engineering tricks. Read articles or read manuals on certain pieces of gear that i don't know about.Thank God for Youtube,, when i first started engineering in 2005 that wasn't around ,so u had to quickly become friends with anyone knowing more than you about certain aspects of engineering.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly record vocals and give the client a Ruff Mix of what we did during the session. Or I am sent a Protools session to mix at one of my 4 mix studio locations and send them a finished mix/mastered final version for selling on itunes or to get cd duplicated
