I recorded an audio introduction to an app. KC directed me during the recording, letting me know when a retake was needed, and he edited the recording immediately following the session. He did a great job. KC is knowledgeable, experienced, and a pleasure to work with.

I am a former small time recording artist and wanted to put together a few songs for my sister's kids as Christmas presents. Casey reached out to me through Thumbtack and I wasn't sure quite what to expect but I booked the session. Being that it's been awhile since I recorded I was nervous and a little unsure if I'd be able to get everything done but as soon as I arrived I immediately realized from his demeanor and setup that Casey was a professional which helped me relax. Casey knew everything to do to help the session move smoothly and we got everything tracked out and recorded. I went back a few days later to hear the final mix and was ecstatic with how it sounded. His rate was very affordable and he didn't waste time trying to drag out his hours on the project, which I appreciated and for what I received I think I got a great deal. I highly highly highly recommend Casey for any audio project!

Casey was great! Studio was ready upon my arrival and he was very helpful in getting us set up and running. He went above and beyond in recording and supplying me my tracks. My producer loved the quality of the recordings as well as his great attitude. Will definitely be working with Uptown Mixing Labs again in the near future. Outstanding experience.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    I recently worked with a couple who wanted to remaster a song by their deceased daughter. The original song was on cassette & needed quite a bit of clean up. I was able to make the recording sound quite good and the customers were ecstatic!
