This was my first time hiring a professional home cleaning service, and I hired Tampa Bay Home Service for a deep clean of my living room, guest bathroom, kitchen/dining area, and den. I also specifically requested extra attention to the kitchen and oven.
Two very pleasant and friendly women came to my home, and they completed the cleaning in a little under 3 hours. Overall, they did a good job, and I appreciate the time and effort they put into my home.
I do feel that the cleaning fell a little short of my expectations of what a “deep clean” would include. There were still some spots on the floors that needed additional scrubbing, and the kitchen sink faucet still had visible residue and did not appear to have been cleaned.
I was working from home and in meetings throughout most of the cleaning, so I didn’t have an opportunity to walk through the house with them afterward or point out these areas before they left. I noticed them afterward when I was able to look more closely.
For $250, I expected a little more attention to detail, especially since I specifically requested a deep clean. With two people working for nearly three hours, I felt there may have been an opportunity to get some of those remaining areas.
That said, the cleaners were pleasant, respectful, and I am thankful they came and helped get my home cleaned up. This was my first experience hiring a cleaning service, so perhaps my expectations of what is included in a “deep clean” are a little different.
Overall, I’m giving 4 stars. I was happy with the service overall, but I think there is room for improvement in the attention to detail and making sure everything is thoroughly completed before finishing the job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick conversation (or a walkthrough for larger homes) to understand your space and needs, then provide a transparent, itemized quote. Once you book, we match you with trained, background-checked W-2 team members and confirm a date and time that works for you. After each visit, we welcome feedback to make sure every cleaning meets our standards.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our trainers hold a House Cleaning Technician (HCT) certification through Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), which requires passing a 2.5 hours examine on a wide-range of cleaning topics. Each cleaner received structured hands-on training from day one. To complete their initiation period they are required to take America Home Cleaning Association (AHCA) certification training and pass the exam.
