My trip to France for three weeks presented me with a problem of who would take care of my two Westies who are like my children to me. With a lot of interviewing, I decided on using Merryl Koven. Merryl kept Bonnie and Clyde in her home for those three weeks like they were her own. She gave them run of the house and actually let them sleep with her!! Merryl emailed pictures of them to me which helped ease my separation anxiety!! She went above and beyond by customizing their food with adding a gourmet chicen blend to their kibble. Merryl's two dogs are friendly and eager to be good hosts. Cassie actually jumped in my car when I picked up my pups because she didn't want her new friends to leave. I give Merryl Koven an outstanding review, 100% and beyond.

I was lucky enough to be referred to Merryl by a friend two years ago and I will be forever grateful, as will my dog who loves her possibly more than he loves me! Merryl is truly as wonderful as everything you might read and hear about her. When we travel it is usually for two weeks at a time, which is a long time for our dog to be away from his own home and family. When I drop off my furry boy the bond and interaction between them is amazing. He is always comfortable and doesnât get stressed or nervous when I take him to her house, in fact, he is excited and happy to go despite his car anxiety! Merryl is loving, comforting, fun, intuitive, responsible, extremely knowledgeable and communicative. Merrylâs son, Landon, is an added bonus. Landon has inherited his motherâs gift for lovingly interacting with dogs. My dog will run right to him for hugs and affection upon arrival. Her house and yard are always immaculate. Her own dogs, Nugget and Cassie are welcoming and happily share their home and family with my dog. I know my furry boy cannot possibly be in better hands when we are away and we have complete peace of mind and a guilt-free trip knowing he is happy and doted on! I cannot encourage you enough to entrust Merryl with the care and well-being of your four-legged family members.

As a fellow dog sitter, it is important to be able to trust and rely on the person taking care of your pets. Knowing that I can refer dogs to Merryl's care gives me the peace of mind that our "pet parents" need. Doesn't everyone want their pets safe, smiling and spoiled???

Merryl is an excellent dog sitter. She is actually more of a companion. My dog Mic loves his Aunt Merryl. She is very attentive to their needs. She gives lots of loving. And she is knowledgeable about basic medical and emergency needs. I HIGHLY recommend The Woofle House..

What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly board dogs in my home BUT also offer doggie day camp if you are working a long day, I will come to your home for visits/walks. I will also care for your cats in your home while you travel.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud of myself for lots of reasons on all my jobs. I have the same families for the lifetimes of their pets and their friends. If you are shopping price alone, I am not your girl. If you want to travel with complete peace of mind and come home to your obviously well cared for furry kid; I am.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for references and call one or two and make sure that the caregiver is what they say they are. I have dogs of my own and I trust the gal that watches them when I travel as much as I trust myself with their care.
