Introduction: I have been involved in many different aspects of fitness since childhood. Coming from an artistic background I like to challenge myself by coming up with unique ways to target the muscles and build strength while avoiding boredom. My extensive training in yoga and barre has allowed me to add an element of fluidity to my workouts. Yoga built my foundation for realizing the strength and power of one’s own body, whatever size or shape. Learning to control targeted muscle groups without relying on heavy weights builds body awareness which can be carried over into any form of fitness or lifestyle. I approach clients with accessible workouts offering modifications to increase intensity or ease up depending on where they may be in their journey. I keep it positive and relaxed and try my best to make it fun :)

Private Yoga Instruction

Janine is a very talented and passionate yoga instructor. You can tell that she truly enjoys helping people and cares about improving their mobility and overall health through yoga. She is also a very nice and friendly person with a big heart and a big smile. Personally, she has found areas that I was weak in and tailored a yoga pose specifically for me. I went from a 7 pain level in my injured hip all the way down to a 1 or 2 level after working with her for only two months. I would recommend her to anyone serious about either healing or getting into better shape as she is definitely a 5 Star instructor.

Her classes are unique and structured for you. She focuses on your personal goals and works at your own pace. I had the most amazing Yoga experience with Janine. It was my first time and she comforted me and guided me through her class with ease. Her relaxing and soothing voice calmed me down and allowed me to meditate immediately. She helped me with my poses and I absolutely loved her techniques. Totally recommend her class... she’s awesome!

Janine was great! I worked with her one on one for almost a year and she helped me gain the confidence to feel comfortable in group classes and overcome some past injuries. She kept our sessions relaxed but challenging and kept the sessions fresh with new suggestions and approaches to get me out of the norm. Totally recommend her.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I offer private, semi-private and group sessions. The larger the group, the less the cost per person. I also offer discounts for advanced bookings that have been pre-paid and free sessions for referrals.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I spend the first session working on the fundamentals of breathing and mindful transitions to optimize ones practice. I review any specific modifications to address injuries or limitations and discuss short term/long term goals so I can plan accordingly.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a 200-RYT with studio, corporate and private client experience. I have worked with all levels from beginner to advanced practices.
