I charge $45/an hour. No hidden fees . Payment is due at the end of EACH day of work. I accept Cash, Check, ZELLE, or Apple Pay. Our First Phone Consultation is ABSOLUTELY FREE. I don't charge you until our first in person meeting. If you choose to purchase additional storage solutions for your project (storage bins, garment racks, shoe storage, draw dividers, etc) that will be an additional cost and will be discussed at our first in person meeting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each new client has a FREE phone consultation where we get to chat a little about your expectations for your CLOSET CORRECTION and the scope of your project. Here is where you get to learn a little more about me and my business and decide if you would like hire me as your CLOSET CORRECTOR. Our first in person meeting I like to see the space in person, discuss goals, along with your daily habits, and if you will be purchasing any additional storage solutions for the project. Getting to know you and how you live on. a day to day basis will have a huge impact on how I organize your closet. Do you need to see everything to wear it? Do you need a drop zone at the end of the day? or maybe you need things color coded. The more I can learn about you and your space the better. At our first consultation I normally like to curate the closet with you and start the process of sorting your items into KEEP, SELL, and DONATE piles. The initial meeting usually runs about 2 hours. I will then shop for any additional supplies and the correction will begin. I am on board with you being as involved or hands off as you would like. Letting someone into your home and around your possessions is very personal and I welcome any feedback as the project progresses. My goal is to make sure you are proud of your space before I leave for the day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After graduating from school with a degree in public relations I began working for a multi brand fashion showroom in the fashion capital of the world, New York City. My love for all things design didn't end with clothes and soon I also had my real estate license as breathing new life into once grand homes took center stage. I love taking a space once overlooked as "old" or "beyond help" and turning into into a contemporary space. This is where I realized how much I love organizing and space planning and could turn my quirky passion into a career.
