We bought an older house and had a home inspection done but no one told us about the really dangerous situation we had with our dryer vent up on the roof. Once we had someone clean the dryer vent but they did it from the laundry room with a big shop vac. It was not until we hired Bright Air Duct & Chimney did, we learn what a big mess was up on the roof. The previous owner had put a substandard dryer vent up there that could not be opened to clean. Which was not a problem for him because he never cleaned it. For decades. We are so grateful that Tom, a true expert, from Bright Air Duct & Chimney removed the old vent and installed the proper kind which is much safer. The pictures he showed us were shocking. It looked like a big pile of insulation around the dryer stack, that also was not properly installed, and the only small space for the hot air to vent was about the size of a golf ball. We are lucky the whole thing didn’t catch fire. Tom removed the bad vent, cleaned out the whole area, installed a new vent and properly sealed the whole thing so no rain would get in the roof area. Then he double checked inside too and from the laundry room snaked out the dryer from the first floor to the roof. We are glad we hired Bright Air Duct & Chimney because we needed an expert like Tom to fix multiple problems with our dryer venting. This is your vendor. You will be very happy with their work.

Good job. I had a lot of dust in ducts and the brushing generated a lot of mess. Prepare for about 3h house cleaning. The tech accommodated my request to bring all the vents to me to be cleaned.
