As a Lifestyle magazine writer and architectural photographer, I have often considered Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier as the gold standard from which to guage not only architects, but to some degree, interior designers & home stagers as well. However designers and stagers represent an even wider array of smart, creative visual styles & decor. Among the trendsetters in this regard is Alicia Ortiz, founder of Azure Design Studio LLC. I became convinced of this while working on-site with Azure.
The elegant motifs of Ms. Ortiz immediately establish her as a Super-Nova compared to her peers. Her natural talent seems to supersede the tried and true nuances of academic design by virtue of her innate ability to successfully merge 'Luxury with Sustainability' while simultaneously elevating 'Form within Function'. For those looking for a unique, highly qualified voice in the multi-pronged field of home design, Alicia Ortiz should be considered the brightest rising star to watch!

Working with Alicia was an absolute pleasure! From the very beginning, she listened carefully to my ideas and turned them into a beautiful, functional design that exceeded my expectations. Every detail — from the color palette to the furniture choices — reflected my style perfectly.
Communication was seamless, the project stayed on schedule, and the final result completely transformed my space. Friends and family can’t stop complimenting how amazing it looks! I highly recommend Azure Designs to anyone looking for a creative, professional, and passionate interior designer.

Our pricing is transparent and tailored to each project’s scope. We offer tiered design and staging packages to fit various budgets, with clear proposals and no hidden fees. Occasional discounts apply for multi-room or repeat clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a discovery call to learn about your space, style, and goals. From there, we create a custom design plan, share visuals and sourcing, and guide you through every step — from concept to completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m certified in Home Staging, E-Design, Color Consultation, and Vacation Rental Design, with over 25 years of professional experience in communication and project management. I also continue to train in eco-friendly, sustainable design practices.
