Outstanding tutor! I wish I had found Dr. Lunsford earlier on in my Calculus I class, but nonetheless the couple of sessions we had together in preparation for my final exam made the difference! I received an A on the final thanks in large part for his expertise in breaking down a few difficult concepts I had been hung up on. Dr. Lunsford is extremely knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to ensure I understand the underlying principles behind the calculations. He has a very intuitive sense of explaining things from different angles so that the student is able to tackle a wide variety of problems. If you are looking for a math tutor, please stop your search right here and give Dr. Lunsford a call. He will exceed your expectations! I will be utilizing him again when I begin my calculus II class and look forward to the sessions!

Meg has been instrumental in helping my 9 yr old & 11 yr old improve their math, reading & test taking skills. She is great at tailoring the sessions to each child's needs. She is always flexible with scheduling. She has helped my kids realize their strengths & also to not be afraid of their opportunities. My kids love their time with Meg & always look forward to it. I would highly recommend her.

My son had fell behind in third grade and we were seeking a tutor that would help catch him up and prepare him for the fourth grade. Hiring Kati from Bullseye Learning was a God sent. Not only has my son excelled in fourth grade courses, he has also gained confidence and skills sets, I feel he would not have gained in a normative classroom. So we decided to hire her full-time. I am both relieved that my son is learning by leaps and bounds and grateful for the commitment that Kate at Bullseye Learning has displayed in her efforts in educating of my son. Thanks-Bullseye

Olga-Maria helped me with ACT and SAT prep. Without her extensive knowledge of both tests and strategy for each section, I would not have achieved the score I did on both tests, specifically the ACT. She helped to raise my science and writing scores several points because of her strategies. With her expertise, she also helped me refine my skills in the Reading section, in which I scored a 34. I would highly recommend her as a tutor for any high school student looking to do their best on the ACT.

About

Hello, My name is Lakeesha and I am a ELA teacher that is transitioning out of the classroom. I enjoy teaching, but would prefer to do so in a less traditional setting. I love to help learners achieve their academic goals. I have school aged children, so I understand how hard it is for parents to sit down and help their scholars with this crazy common core work. I understand what the state is looking for when it comes to standardized testing as well as experiencing the FUN of learning. I hope I can be of assistance to you in the area of academics.

About

At iLearn, our goal is to bring back a love for learning by making education a personal experience. We tutor by first learning who our students are, then incorporate their likes and interests into tutoring plans that will turn each school subject into their favorite school subject. Personally, I also work as a professional photographer and videographer with the goal of making full fledged wildlife documentaries. Integrative Biology is my passion and it has led me to explore many scientific topics that I now strive to combine with art to deliver to the public. I have a particular interest in Quantum theory and Relativity as a hobby as well. Science, for me, is a fun way of understanding the world around us and being able to interact with it in the best way possible. I am here to share that perspective with you and look forward to assisting you in your academic journey.

About

I have been tutoring students 1st grade through middle school in both Language Arts AND Mathematics for the past 4 years. I believe I have a unique perspective that makes for a highly effective and engaging teaching style that is sure to help students of any age bring their grades and test score way up! I explain difficult concepts in very simple terms, I in the process, I help students discover and strengthen their unique learning styles so they can love toward independence. The opportunities I've had to help students with math are amazing, especially for having used to struggle with math myself. I am told by students everyday that I explain math concepts and problems better than their teacher, so if I had the chance, I want to help more kids and teens find their "eureka!" moment!
