FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson prices: Half hour/ $50 45 minutes/$75 Hour/$100 Hour lessons are best for adults and young adults, but if time or funds don't allow we can make a shorter lesson time work. Partial scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis to students in need. Please let me know if you feel you fall into this category and we can discuss financial options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For our first voice lesson, I like to take a few minutes to get a feel for your goals and how advanced you are, vocally and musically. I will lead you through a few exercises to help me better understand where you are, talk about vocal technique and what to expect going forward with lessons together. This is a great time to tell me about your hopes and dreams regarding singing or ask any questions about the process. My voice lessons are typically divided into two parts. The first half is devoted to learning vocal technique and practicing vocal exercises to improve the voice. The second half is the application of that technique to repertoire--repertoire that I suggest to help improve the voice as well as passion pieces for the student, or pieces they are preparing for a performance or audition.
