My hubby and I have had wonderfully successful experience with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Winter Park. We are in our late 60's and retired. We first walked through their door because we had planned a trip to Argentina the following year and learning to dance the tango was on our bucket list of things to do as a couple when we had gotten married 16 years earlier. I love to dance and I was lucky that my hubby, who was not a dancer, was willing to do that for me. We got Frankie as an instructor. He did it. Eight months later my hubby and I were dancing the tango across Argentina. We got home just in time to have the world close down from Covid. Since everyone has gotten their vacs and started socializing again we are dancing at the studio once more. We did an in-studio 'showcase' of the Argentine tango. LOL! That was the only thing we knew how to dance. Recently we did an in studio 'showcase' of the Rhumba. We are now first level dancers of a variety of different dances. We plan to show off our new skills at an upcoming wedding of a niece. Learning the Argentine tango as our first dance may not have been the easiest way to go, because it is a hard dance to learn, but now the other dances we have been learning seem much easier. Which is good. My hubby has embraced dancing as a forever activity we will be enjoying together as we age. Frankie (instructor) and Steven (instructor / owner ) and Karla (front desk) are wonderful to work with.

I have been dancing with Arthur Murray Winter Park since January, 2020. I started with Leroy as my instructor and we had a great time with him introducing me to a variety of dance styles both smooth and rhythm. As my skills progressed, I asked if I could dance with Frankie for my smooth lessons and they were all very accommodating. The lessons progress at my pace and I can even request focusing my lessons in particular dances that I am interested in learning. Throughout the week, they have classes at various skill levels or open to all. These lessons are a great way to learn many of the syllabus moves and excellent for practicing your ability to lead and follow with other people. Friday night is Party! Everyone dances with other students and all the teachers dance with all the students, whether they teach them or not. This really helps develop your ability and confidence on the dance floor. Often couples who are preparing for their wedding will do a preview for everyone at these evenings which helps get the performance jitters out of the way. I have even participated in a number of competitions where we compete with students from other studios. These have been wonderful experiences as the studio owner, Stephen, is very focused on a high quality event for all. Everyone from the studio is very much a family and helps and supports each other throughout the weekend. Arthur Murray Winter Park always fares extremely well in these competitions which is evidence of the quality of their instruction! You cannot go wrong taking dance lessons here, whatever your reasons! I how to see you soon on the dance floor! I

My husband and I have lots of fun dancing at the studio. It’s fun to learn new dances and steps. It’s a great way to keep the mind sharp and your balance in check. We laugh and enjoy being with each other and our dance instructor.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this Arthur Murray team. When I started I could NOT DANCE AT ALL, and now I’m a more than comfortable and confident dancer if 6 ballroom dances and I’m working on 2 more. I find it challenging, rewarding, therapeutic and ultimately a whole lot of fun. The team there is so great. Great human beings and great professional dance instructors.

All new students qualify for a complimentary 30 minute private lesson and 25% off any of our new student or wedding dance programs.

You first get to come in and meet your instructor, try out some different dances to see what you like and then the choice is yours as to what happens next.

All of our professional dance instructors are fully trained and have the qualifications to teach anybody to dance.
