Molding or baseboards,
We originally were looking for someone to come by to do some basic handyman work around the house, and if they had the ability to do some “finishing” work on our kitchen cabinets (put up som crown molding), it would be ideal. When we spoke with the various contractors, and Paul gave me his background, I was cautiously optimistic he wold be able to meet our needs. Boy did I underestimate him!!! Not only was able to handle the basic work, but he handled all of our finishing work we have been worrying about since we moved into our home a year ago last February. Not only was his work fantastic, he was creative in his recommendations for things we hadn’t even considered (and loved), he cleaned up after he was through, and Paul was extremely fair with his prices. My wife and I are already planning our next project for him, once we get some upcoming home events out of the way. I highly recommend Paul to anyone considering quality work done by an exceptional craftsman whose also a very pleasant person to be around and who won’t charge an arm and a leg for his brilliance.May 19, 2018Verified
Builder communicated during the entire process. Builder provided a fair price. The team was on time and kept their schedule. Extremely pleased with the finished product. He is now my new handyman.May 11, 2018Verified
I had a lot of small things and a couple of medium sized things that I just hadn't gotten to. One of them was a "fix" to another person's poor quality. Paul did everything asked and did a great fix on the previous persons' mistake. Paul also fixed some items (a gap on my deck stairs) that I hadn't even asked him to fix. I have no doubt he will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. I will be using Paul again.Jul 31, 2018Verified
Paul was very professional. He completed the job and he did a good job. Price was great and so was the finish product. I will use him again in the future when we need some work done.May 18, 2018Verified
He had our kitchen vent removed and reinstalled for some backsplash work. His work was perfect and detailedMay 14, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I like my clients and new customers to understand my pricing. I charge 55.00 an hour if I am already on sight working and the client adds extras or I will rebid the addition work. If I come out to to do a small project that may take only a few hours my first hour is 125.00 and every hour after that is 55.00. The reason I charge a larger 1st hour is to cover my time and travel costs. Or you can ask me for a over all price to do the same project. Either way it’s your choice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Meet them in person and review what there needs are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I completed a 4year Journeyman apprentice program for Carpentry. Been doing remodeling and construction for over 30 years. I am from a legacy of trades man, with my father being a HVAC contractor and Uncle being a Carpentry Contractor. I have experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, tile, all aspects of flooring, ,millwork, cabinetry building,etc...
