He is very patient and he does a great job helping my son understand how-to think about math and solving problems.
Mr. Marquette tutors my daughter in math. He is very professional. He makes learning math fun for her. I highly recommend their services. You will not be disappointed.
Having George Lindsay as my math tutor was the best decision I've ever made. I looked for a long time for a math tutor but didn't find any that where affordable or experience enough like ageorge. He breaks everything out for you to understand the concept of the lessons. He goes beyond what he is supposed to just to help you. George also has the best attitude for things he's friendly, funny and very outgoing which makes it easier to learn and feel comfortable with him as a
He's knows his stuff! My daughter brags to me about things she's learning now, before she complained about her math subjects.
Ms. Arp tutors my 9-year-old fourth grader twice per week with a focus on reading and writing. Prior to beginning her sessions, Ms. Arp met with me to gauge my child's needs. She was very thorough in her assessment of my wants and obviously very knowledgeable about best practices in teaching and remediation. I felt very comfortable being honest about my child's weaknesses and my fears for his future. Ms. Arp put me at ease, though, when she explained to me her plan for bringing my child up to grade level in reading. Ms. Arp spent the first sessions diagnosing my child's reading abilities. From there, she paid close attention to what he was doing in his classroom lessons, and her tutoring reflected the same subject matter as his teacher's lessons. If his class was working on identifying the main idea, that's what my child would work on with Ms. Arp during tutoring. Whenever I had a new idea for an area of focus, Ms. Arp always listened and changed her lessons to address those concerns. I feel like Ms. Arp is part of the larger team of folks who care about my child's education. My child has gained confidence and tangible skills thanks to Ms. Arp. I am grateful that we found a tutor who offered a convenient schedule and a reasonable rate. Giving your child the best opportunities in life should not exist solely for the wealthy. Ms. Arp allows my family to afford the extra academic attention while still having enough left over to keep my child in other extra-curricular activities. We could not have asked for a better tutor. Thanks, Ms. Arp!
Excellent service. Exceeded my expectations and then some. I highly recommend him for highschool and college math tutoring !
We found Robert in the middle of the school year in 2014. Our 8 year old son was having a very challenging time with math, and his father and I were not able to assist him without us all ending up beyond frustrated. Robert is soft spoken, kind, patient, encouraging an effective! Our sons grades have improved, and he comes home from school telling us that math is easier for him than it used to be! We would highly recommend Robert to any parent considering a math tutor for their student.
I tried to study and practice on my own for the GRE, but after I got my terrible scores back I knew I needed tutoring. My tutor was always punctual (often earlier than I was!) and thoughtfully prepared for our sessions based on my needs. I did poorly in the GRE quant section, so we worked on improving my confidence and speed (a lot of focus on strategy) doing GRE math problems. After re-taking the test, I scored 9 points higher! Obviously, I had to work hard to get these results, but a huge chunk of my success is because of my tutor.
Ms. Bates is currently tutoring my 7th grade daughter. The experience has been very positive. She has been phenomenal thus far! My daughter connected with her right away (not an easy task). She explains things to her in a manner that's very simplistic and makes sense to my daughter. During our second session she already had gone to my daughters school's website to get familiar with her teachers and the assignments due. She is very knowledgeable in all subject areas, and familiar with educational trends. She has come to each lesson prepared and each lesson is designed with my daughters learning style in mind.
Mrs. Kristan has been an awesome tutor! My son who's in the 10th grade has been struggling in math. Mrs. Kristan has used various techniques to teach concepts in order for him to grasp the material. Recently, she has even gone above and beyond her tutoring duties and attended a 504 meeting for him and suggested strategies. She truly is passionate about her work, has excellent work ethics, displays patience and encouragement to her clients. I would recommend her tutoring services to anyone whose child is struggling in math.
Accounting is definitely not my forte so being able to have somebody to discuss the topics and send me in the right direction for my assignments has been a phenomenal experience. With at least 10 years of real experience, she is adequately equipped to deliver high quality tutoring in her respective subjects. Her professionalism and quality work made a favorable impression on me, and reflected on the grades I received for the assignments. I would not hesitate to hire her in the future, and I do plan on using her expert knowledge through the remainder of my accounting course. 10/10 Would hire again! I am so thrilled I chose the right tutor!
Coach Kam was very knowledgeable; especially on math techniques for the GRE. I would definitely recommend her services.
My son was failing, Social Study, Math, writing. MS Ragine Hyppolite tutored him. He did great academically and meets and exceeds CRCT. I am so grateful. Two thumbs up MS Ragine! kudos! Thank you so much. =)
The instructor was exceptionally well prepared, and was able to establish a rapport with my son and hold his attention while conveying relevant material. My son said he found it easier to solve his problems using Mr. Ace's techniques. I will be availing myself of his service since I believe he wil be instrumental in helping improve my sons grades in Math. I recommend him very highly.
Melissa has been tutoring both our children for about 4 years. Both were behind when they started with her, both are in the advanced classes now. Our 5th grader scored in the top 96% on the standardized Iowa test, our 3rd grader in the top 94% - we credit Melissa's tutoring for those scores. She's great about communicating with teachers to find out where the kids need help. Each of our children learn differently...Melissa is able to find fun and creative ways to craft custom learning plans to maximize her time with them.
Julian is a great violin teacher! He teaches my 9 year old daughter. He is very kind and patient with her. She is also learning at a very fast rate. I highly recommend Julian as a teacher of any kind!
My experience with Academic Advantage Tuturing is very satisfying. I found a place where my child's fear of math is subsiding due to the confidants that she abtaining through the help of her tutor.
She was very helpful when she tutored me in physics. She taught me in a way where i could understand and she even reviewed the lessons herself before teaching me. I saw how much she poured her heart into teaching me and helping me so i was very thankful to her. Her determination and methods were really whole hearted which gave me hope to do well in the subject.
This review is long overdue. Carly is a great person and tutor. She is a tutor who can really work with your schedule and take the time to make sure that you really understand every concept. Thanks Carly because of you I was able to do more than just pass my Calculus class but really do well.
I would like to teach you Spanish and maths. Spanish is my first language, and I am studying petroleum engineering at my seventh semester.
I am in Loganville, GA. I am retired from the US Army. I speak Spanish, and I can help people to learn Spanish and math too. Flexible hours are very important.
Professionalism, work ethics, education.
My tutoring level specializations include elementary to high school mathematics such as the following: * K-8th Grade Math * Algebra 1 and 2 * Geometry * Trigonometry * Precalculus * Statistics and others upon request I am usually located in a Midtown or East Atlanta library or coffee shop (e.g. Starbucks, Caribou, etc.), but I am willing to charge more when my schedule permits me to drive to a locale outside these areas. My rates start at $30 per hour (cash only please!) and are subject to change depending on the subject and location.
