Heidi has helped me with several large organizing projects over the years and her help has allowed me to spend less time dealing with clutter and more time with my family and on projects that I am better suited for. I could not have been happier with the results and I believed she has been worth every penny. She is efficient with her use of time and excellent at breaking projects down into manageable tasks. Heidi's eye for design is a bonus when hiring her to help with organizing. While attacking clutter in a room, for example, she can suggest a better placement of furniture or more attractive ways to store items. Heidi also recently helped me with my approach to housework. I called her in what felt like a moment of shame and confessed that although I consider myself an intelligent person, I obviously could not figure out how to stay on top of the day-to-day housekeeping required with a family of five. It was beyond me and affecting my life in a negative way. I asked Heidi to come over and basically talk me through the steps to clean my house. If it were her house, how would she approach it? She did just that, and the results have been amazing. Now, if I feel overwhelmed with a build-up of clutter, laundry, toys, paperwork, and more, I just start from the beginning of Heidi's "How to Clean My House" tutorial and knock it out. I even walked my husband through the steps the other day, because as Heidi wisely advised, keeping the house clean should be something the whole family participates in, to the degree that time and age allow. If you hire Heidi to help you with organizing and/or design, I think you will be thrilled with the results. I always have been!

Working with Order By Design was so quick, easy and painless. I was able to easily explain to Heidi what I wanted to get done and she made it such a fun and easy process with no hiccups and at totally reasonable rates. I would recommend her to anyone!

I've worked with Heidi several times over the last few years, with each project coming out as a smashing success! She has a knack for choosing colors, both inside and out. Heidi takes everything into consideration as she's cultivating the "look" (i.e. current furniture, paint, etc). Below are some pictures of our projects. I hired Heidi to help me get my home office and craft/guest room organized. What I was also desperately looking for was some help bringing to life the vision I had in my head for the look and feel of my home. Heidi exceeded my expectations (and that, if you knew me, is hard to do). Heidi is the consummate professional - very focused on the task at hand, insightful and consultative, proactive and laser focused on keeping her promises around what I said I wanted accomplished in the time frame I wanted. She also communicated her willingness to work with me to continue my vision, in the following days/weeks (which I took advantage of and she saved me TONS of time and money); her on the spot advice was invaluable. I hosted an event at my home/home office a couple of days after my session with Heidi and the feedback was amazing. Heidi is not only competent, she is gifted. If you're lucky enough to get on her schedule, just know her rates are more than competitive and pay for themselves instantly (according to my husband who usually never makes those kinds of comments). #OrderByDesignRocks #LoveMeSomeHeidi

$65 per hour for organizing - $90 per hour for design/staging
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It varies depending upon the request, but overall, communication. If the request and explanation to the request is not clear, I am not able to fully satisfy my client's goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent over 15 years working in the design and organizing industry. I have traveled the US installing/merchandising over 150 model homes for Beazer Interior Design. I worked with the most talented designers in GA, learning all aspects of style, design, and balance.
