First time getting guitar lessons from a pro. Highly recommend
Ashley is a great teacher, flexible with her time and simply great to work with. I have started taking singing lessons later in life than most and she has made me feel very comfortable at every point during our lessons.
Mrs. Justice is an excellent teacher. I enjoy a lot my piano lessons with her.
My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Nima Momtaz and he is a wonderful piano teacher, she greatly looks forward to her lesson each week. We highly recommend him. The Shier family, Watkinsville, GA
I thought he explained things clearly. I liked what I walked away with in the first lesson. I look forward to more lessons. I think he's an amazing teacher.
Chris is a one of a kind guitar instructor. He is personable and dedicated to teaching music. I have learned more from him in a short amount of time than I have from previous instructors. He understands that each individual learns differently and he creates a program for every student. Working/Playing music with him has given me more motivation to play more at home (I work 50+ hours a week) than any other instructor has ever given me. I would highly recommend Mr.Silver and I am looking forward to continuing my lessons with him.
Two of my kids had been taking piano lessons with Soo Jin for about 5 years. We like the flexibility that she can provide for us during our busy schedule. Her piano skills are excellent! Hopefully, my kids will continue to learn and perfect it! We appreciate the hard work and dedication she puts towards her music.
We've met Mrs. Amy for the first time in 2009, I was looking for a piano teacher for my son. He was 8 and he never played any instrument before, I wasn't event sure he would have liked piano. They had a connection from the beginning. Mrs. Amy is extremely professional, demanding, but also gentle, very passionate and a sweet woman. She doesn't like wasting time, but she always found the time during class to talk with my son about his day, without compromising productivity. My son started with a 30 minutes class and the amount of progresses he made was incredible for a such short amount of time. After a couple of years, I signed him up for an hour long class, with the approval of the teacher. We doubled the time of learning and my son always told me that time was flying. He grew with her, the bond between this wonderful teacher and my son was amazing, based on respect, desire to learn, complicity, and yes, fun. My son is 13yo now, he loves playing piano and he's also playing trumpet in the school's band. Unfortunately we moved out of GA otherwise we would have never stopped piano lessons with Mrs. Amy. Great woman, great teacher, we've been blessed to find such a great person. I definitely recommend her for any kid, or teen who wants to start loving music and piano. Samuela
Nora has been the best piano teacher for me. Being in my late sixties, I wanted to learn at my pace without pressure but at the same stretching me to see what I can do like playing in front of an audience. She has been patient and kind. I am learning and enjoying playing the piano.Nora gives good instruction and is very organized. I've enjoyed our lessons very much. She is knowledgeable about music, loves it and stays in touch with other teachers and groups. She has been the best teacher for me. Thanks Nora!
Every review says as much about the person reviewing as it does the business reviewed. Olga is a conscientious and professional piano and voice teacher and I highly recommend her. A bad review is telegraphing that the person writing it has specific things that set them off. Sometimes these are fair and then the review reads as sensible. Typing a bad review in ALL CAPS is not sensible. The person comes across as obnoxious and at best, as fussy when focused on things most people consider unfair, like free lessons. Unless it is someone who shares the same issue, when someone like that writes a bad review the only person he or she is pushing away is someone LIKE THEM. So in that respect, they're doing the place a favor because they are aborting another bad review. Most of us read multiple reviews and can sort the rational voices from the angry ones. I am a parent of two boys and I have to say that $20 for quality one-on-one (private) 30 minute music lessons is too cheap. This is especially true if the teacher has several university degrees. Yes Olga gives us a discounted rate for my younger son but I do not expect her to teach for free. I am yet to see a teacher giving a $20 private lesson and free lesson for the 2nd child. To do it once perhaps, but that deal would be too good to be true to sustain long term. Not only would the teacher soon go out of business but it is unfair to the parents who are paying a higher but fair rate. In this day and age that is not a fair price for a qualified music teacher. However, $20 for a group lesson of 4 or 5 kids would make sense. My boys were able to read notes from their first piano lesson and are able to interpret a piece of music. Their lessons include scales, arpeggios, classic pieces, aural testing, sight reading and music theory. She is currently preparing my eldest son for the grade 1 Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Exam. I can say she has gone above and beyond what previous piano teachers have delivered, even extending the lesson time by 5 or 10 minutes if needed. She was more focused on my boys understanding the concept than anything else. In fact and she spaced our lessons so they do not overlap giving me ample time to discuss any concerns. Our experience has been that we get more than what we pay for at each lesson. No one should have to work for free. The effort Olga makes in teaching our boys correct finger posture, rhythm and theory is incredible. She is great with kids and I could not ask for a better teacher.
I have taken guitar lessons before, but I wasn't learning or moving forward at the pace I wanted. He played guitar the whole time and seemed detached, annoyed and uninterested in helping me. He really didn't seem passionate about his lessons/teaching methods and what I learned over time. So I finally decided to try again and I took guitar lessons from Cam about a year ago and it's been the most rewarding experience.
Sarah is an excellent teacher! My daughter flourished under her tutelage. Not only did her skills progress, but she discovered a love of the piano and the music that comes from it. Sarah has always been patient and understanding of our busy schedule. She is always accommodating and so easy to communicate with.

I work hard to understand my students and not just see them as another number.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist and composer who also loves to teach music. As a performer, clients love my versatility and flexibility. As a composer, my music is noted for originality and soul. As a teacher, I've gained a reputation for being personable and motivating, yet technically solid. Areas taught include brass instruments (especially, but not exclusively, trumpet), beginning to intermediate guitar, and beginning piano and music theory and composition.
