About

Excellence and professionalism are both equally important to me. My record received 4 and 1/2 stars in downbeat magazine and went on to receive a first round Grammy nominations in three categories. I have Master’s degree in jazz studies from Georgia State University. I take being on time and being dressed appropriately seriously to provide a no stress experience. Being a teacher I am able to cater to the individual needs of the student by being well versed in several teaching techniques. Thanks for your interest!

My event was planned in a very short window. I couldn’t use Louis but he has a company that provides artists. Louis did a great job of coordinating a jazz pianist for my event. The pianist Dan Lawrence and I had several conversations before the event. We have a baby grand and no one in my home plays the piano. However, he did check to make sure it was not out of tune.

I needed Dan to stay an extra hour and he was more than willing. The music was perfect and my wife was extremely happy.

Louis and his team helped us celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. He was very responsive to our inquiry (We booked him within 48 hrs). He and his band were professional. They played both jazz and r&b music while setting the atmosphere for the event. We will
definitely use them again in the future.

Louis is the most thorough pianist I've ever worked with. Working/creating with him is wonderful...his musical understanding and ability as a pianist is unmatched. On top of that, he's an all around great guy. You can't go wrong with Heriveaux!
