FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Chef Hand has been cooking for groups since he was 5 years old helping his grandmother feed kids at a daycare she owned. A graduate of Georgia State's Hospitality Program, he earned his stripes at restaurants, resorts, hotels, nightclubs, and catering companies for over twenty years before opening his own catering businesses. Chef Hand loves creating new and innovative dishes that always please and excite his clients. He also visits his events to oversee set up and execution as well as to get direct feedback from the client.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide any type meal from almost any cuisine you can imagine. Boxed lunches, buffets, formal seating, cocktail parties with hors d'oeuvres are just a few of the types of events we cater. If you have a gathering that needs food, give us a call!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
On Friday March 7th, 2014 we served over 400 guests at The Foundry in Atlanta, GA for The Furniture Bank's Annual "Chairish The Future" Fundraiser. The Furniture Bank provides basic furniture for low income families so kids can have a bed to sleep on, a table and chair to do their homework, and something to sit on during family time. The event went flawlessly and the guests loved the food so much we have already been asked to return next year.
