My husband and I, went to one of his taste testings for our wedding. Chef had set up a nice romantic styled dinner for us to taste his take on what we asked for. He was very professional and the food was good! He gave us his background information and career goals that made us feel special and honored to choose his dishes for our wedding.
Of course, my husband and I were a little nervous about saying what we preferred over what he gave us, but he wasn't offended. He gave us different options from what he served to us at the tasting, which made us feel more comfortable about talking about what WE wanted for our wedding guests.
I am looking forward to having his dishes in our wedding this October.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to let people know about my experience. I met with Chef Dexter for a tasting for my wedding, and I must say I truly enjoyed my experience. The food was great and made with love, his prices were very reasonable, he’s very responsive, and most importantly I loved his warm and welcoming spirit. My fiancé was not able to make it due to work and Chef Dex took the i Initiative to make him a to go plate so that he would be able to taste the food as well!! Amazing!!!

I had a caterer pull out only a week before my party and found ChefDex on Thumbtack. He made me feel comfortable immediately and I knew all would be well. He worked within the short timeframe and my budget. He offered lots of options for the menu and was very responsive to texts and emails as we planned.

The food was delicious! All my guests loved it and there was not a morsel left.

ChefDex is professional, accommodating and great at what he does. I will certainly use him again if the need arise and would refer him to others in a heartbeat if anyone I know needs an EXCELLENT caterer in the future!
