I had Christian Brother Remodeling repair siding on my home. The experience has turned out to be a good one. After getting into the job, more damage was found and my estimated cost had to be adjusted, but that was no fault of Christian Brother just nobody likes spending more money. After the job was complete, on inspection a few days later, I found where some things that were missed. I contacted Bobby, and he came out and did the additional corrections. Bobby and his team did a good job, but the corrections to the job were carried out right away. I would highly recommend Christian Brother if you are in need of such service. Ray did a full roof replacement. He was competitively priced and very communicative throughout the process. Was on site during the install and willing to answer any questions and made sure the job was done right. He also helped me repair a small inside water damage spot without question. Has only been a few weeks but would work with Ray again.

Mr. Baynes has been a contractor for me for numerous projects in my home. The scope and nature of the project work included entire interior and exterior painting of a 6800 sq. ft. home, deck restoration and painting, siding replacement, new construction of sunroom, power washing of house exterior and driveways, new appliance installations, wall and ceiling replacement after major water damage, carpet installation, tile refinishing in the bath area, painting of exterior rod iron fence and gates and widow re-sealing and re-glazing. He had an old school work ethic (often 10-hour days, some Saturdays), good work habits, strong safety orientation, and emphasized getting the job done right rather than doing it fast. His pride in his work was evident. He tidied up at the end of each workday. I also found him to be trustworthy, and felt comfortable with allowing him access inside my home. 3. Project management and coordination. Mr. Baynes’s prior experience working in construction really paid off. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of my projects, and was able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities, effectively. 4. Integrity and professionalism. Throughout the projects, I was impressed with Mr. Baynes’s commitment to generating a top quality product, rather than maximizing his profit margin. 5. Effective communication. Mr. Baynes kept me closely informed of work schedules, delivery dates, and projected completion dates of different phases of the projects. His communication was always clear, informative, and helpful. 6. Flexibility and effectiveness in dealing with unexpected developments. When unforeseen problems surfaced (e.g., water damage behind a wall; he worked diligently with me to identify solutions that was acceptable to me. 7. Responsiveness to my needs and concerns. Mr. Baynes’s commitment to my satisfaction was evident in his actions. 8. Truth in advertising. In his proposal, Mr. Baynes gave a clear breakdown of costs for each facet of the projects. His contract was just as detailed in describing the work to be done and the itemized costs. When the project was completed, all the work was done as described and agreed upon, and there were no hidden costs, extra expenses or unpleasant surprises. As a homeowner and customer, I felt Ms. Baynes delivered exactly what he had promised, at the agreed upon price.

The shower pan failed in my master bath tile shower causing water damage through the subfloor. Cavinbuilt handled the entire repair / remodel to include negotiating with my homeowners insurance. I needed the gate hardware adjusted on my gate. He arrived assessed the damage, told me what his strategy would be and started right away. He was very polite and had a lot of patience as he worked to make the necessary adjustments to the hinges as well. Although he worked to provide an immediate solution, he gave me suggestions for long term improvements as well. I felt very comfortable with him at my property and would hire him again.

Our experience overall with this company was outstanding! The contractor was on time with his estimate did not overcharge and actually was way more professional than any other company I have had to deal with in the past for my other projects. SCG Home Improvements did a great job on our garage siding after it caught on fire. The customer service was great and the work was extremely professional. And most of all, they beat the price of all estimates we were previously quoted. We would definetley call SCG Home Improvements again for any further work that we need for our house
