Gabrini was the absolute best and I wish all contractors were as great as him. He purchased the subway tile I wanted for me prior to coming to our home, was done in 1 day as promised, blocked off the kitchen and cleaned up after so it was perfect. Also his work is amazing and looks so good. I can't wait to hire him again for another project one day!
I posted the project to stain my fence in the backyard on Thumbtack and got a response from Felipe within the next hour. He arrived the next day as we agreed to give me a quote for the job and by far the best price I have gotten from multiple contractors. He also recommended the stain type I need to be using to last long and helped me in selecting the color. He went a step further and stopped by Home Depot to pick up the stain. He did an amazingly thorough job staining both sides of the fence (even in the hard to get areas and bushes in the wooded area behind the fence). Felipe Barrera is a thorough professional and I would hire him in a heartbeat to do any paint job at my home as well as recommend him to all of my friends and family in town. I would have given him 10 stars if there was a way to do that - Enough said!!!
We couldn't be happier with Keith and his crew, they did a wonderful job for a very reasonable rate. They ran some new water lines and did gas line work for us too. I would highly recommend these folks to anybody for plumbing work. Another positive note, we wanted them to replace our water heater, as we thought it was malfunctioning. They came out, adjusted a valve (no extra cost) and they actually told us that we didn't need to spend the money on a new one, said we could get a bit more time out of the one we have, very honest and ethical, rare case these days with contractors.
In November 2015 I hired Mr. Hood to perform roof repair to fix a leak. He responded promptly by phone and I explained where I believed the leak was coming from. He stated he could come by the following day to inspect and give an estimate. As promised he showed up on time and provided a fairly priced estimate and stated he could complete the repair the following day, which I agreed to. Long story short, he had to come back two additional times before the leak was finely repaired. Being a former construction contractor myself, I understand how difficult it is to retro fit an existing issue especially a roof leak. Mr. Hood promptly replied to each of my text messages letting him know that the leak was still happening after the next rain. He always replied promptly and scheduled to come out the following day to repair. On the third attempt he successfully repaired the leak which was thoroughly tested with the torrential December rain we had. ***The point I would like to make is that Mr. Hood was always very professional and on time and did what he said he would do and his repair quote was reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone who asked. D. Houston
As an engineer we have a saying that goes "good, fast, cheap; pick two). We got pushed back a little further than originally anticipating but as I worked in construction and weather it was understandable. They were BY FAR the lowest price on architectural shingles and lower with this price than all but one or two who quoted 3-tab shingles. I didn't see any nails on the ground after the job and Ray told us we could load any trash besides paint and something else before the trash company picked up the container a couple days later. They pay per pound as that's the only way I've ever found plus haul and deliver and maybe number of days. Ray was easy to work with and I know we had some plywood sheets replaced. Cover your stuff in the attic as there was a mess up there which I should of anticipated as he said he replaced several sheets. There were nail penetrations in the attic roof (quite a few) which I could bend sideways with a hammer. I'm not stating that last part to complain but more so as a courtesy to the business for future clients. We feel we got much more than we paid for which is VERY rare when dealing with contractors. If you want super pretty attic ceailing it will cost you and the competitors who bid a lot more didn't guarantee it to us except one who did use a better pad but was also a grand and a half less than TWICE what The Art of Home Improvement charged. I would recommend to my family members and friends in a second (unless they want a metal roof which I don't know if they do or not.)
Mr. Johnson arrived on schedule and finished the work quickly. He did a quality job and was very pleasant to work with. I will call him again when I have plumbing work to be done.
I was so impressed with the two-man crew who came to do the work at my house. They were thorough, careful, and checked in with me throughout the job to make sure I was satisfied. Even when I decided that I needed one more coat of paint to cover my formerly very dark cabinets, they willingly complied. They were able to achieve a ceiling repair that most other contractors had said would be much more difficult. They handled it like a breeze. I like the little touches, like going out to their truck on a smoke break, rather than smoking anywhere near the house. I will definitely use this company again !!
Lawrence Handyman Service replaced a section of copper piping that had been damaged in a previous project. Will definitely add him to my list of contractors for future projects. Thanks Willie.
My wife and I recently bought a house and we were looking for floor installer to give a new modern rustic look for the 15-year-old house. We chose Andy and his assistant/wife Aida for the job and they have been a blast! Below I will list some pro and con based on my own but true experience. Scope of the project: 1. 2,800 sqft old floors removal, 2. Level up the subfloor by adding plywood underlayment 3. Glue down 1/2" engineered floors Pro: 1. Quality: Andy's work is top notch, he and his team removed all carpet and floors in just one day and left no dirt or debris. When he's working on nailing down plywood or gluing down floors, he is very focused, tactful, and fast. He makes sure long beautiful plank lied own in the middle of a room and hides discolored floors on side near walls. 2. Price: Andy's price is very reasonable. He wouldn't mind to work with you on his pricing to make sure both parties are aligned. So even his quote isn't the best, please do communicate with him and he certainly will work with you. 3. Punctuality: By far, Andy is the only one who keeps showing up on time and finish each part of the project in the timeline as he promised. 4. Communication: Andy speaks more English than you thought. Besides, you can always speak to his wife Aida for more clarification. 5. Work ethics/professionalism: I think Andy takes great pride of his work. And he wouldn't cut corners for short-term gain and put his long-term flooring career in jeopardy. One example I've experienced, when Andy was nailing down the plywood, he used more than needed number of screws to stabilize the plywood and repeatedly step on them to make sure no squeaks. Knowing we had other contractors to work in the house simultaneously, Andy put down paper to cover all floor area as a protection. 6. Personality: Unlike a lot of contractors, Andy always puts a smile and his face and listens to what you want and how to achieve it. Con or area for improvements: Please fix the logo on your truck. I don't think I would like the mis-spelled last name from "Valles" to "Vallez"!
I call Don at 361 repair to come out and look at my house here in Cumming, I was amazed at the professionalism he showed me. He called that morning to confirm and then as he was on his way to my house to do the work. He scored high marks just to start for that. It let me plan my day instead of the contractor planning it for me as I have had in the past with other contractors. He looked at what I needed done gave me a nice quote and explained everything that he was going to do and then I said go ahead with the work . He did a service check on my a/c. Patched a leak in my roof that caused some damage to my bathroom ceiling from a previous contractor who didn't seal the roof penetration enoigh. He went on the roof sealed it and then sealed it from the bottom also. Did some minor sheet rock repair and touch up painted the spot. He also rewired an attic fan and checked and adjusted the other fans. As he was leaving when he was all done he noticed my garage door flow was making a noise and sprayed some lubricant on the wheels and tightened the chain no more noise. I then asked him how much to add on one more motion sensor light by my garage, he price was good and he ran the wire needed, did the install and cleaned up all of the debris as most contractors don't he hits all the small details. Let me tell you I will be calling him don at 361 back and recommending him to my friends.
I won't lie I had some reservations about using an outside source to do the work.I could not be more pleased however with the results of the job. not only was Kenneth professional , he was punctual and always polite. What I liked was that he kept me informed about every aspect of the job and his time line. Kenneth Arrived on time each day, ( could of slept that Saturday though, lol) and made sure that I was completely satisfied before he left. Also,I never had the chance to thank you for fixing mother's faucet, she loves the hot water. Over all the work was beautiful and the price was fair,I definitely got my money's worth and recommend him to any one who needs a contractor.
Great job! We had a full kitchen with island done, and also tile back splash. Our job was under a very short time frame and JD Granite was fantastic! Came out to template on Saturday and had fabrication done and installed on Wed. I would HIGHLY recommend JD Granite for great pricing, expert craftsmanship, and reliability. I have been in the construction business for over 30 years and am the owner of Heritage Electric LLC in Roswell, GA. I have seen and worked with many contractors over the years and my recommendation does not come lightly. 5 Stars all the way for this company.
Hank is one of the best construction guys I have had the pleasure of working with. His knowledge of his industry is fantastic and he makes you feel very comfortable and confident in his ability to do his job. He built my back yard deck and front deck steps. The quality of work is amazing and my wife and I are so happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Hank to anyone. He also does the work himself with his team which for me was a bonus. I have met with other contractors who come out for a quote and you never see them once you hire them, Hank is not one of these people. He cares about his clients and takes pride in doing the best job for them.
Great experience! Excellent outcome in out kitchen and bathroom remodeling. They were really knowledgeable and professional A+ contractor. On time and budget. Outstanding!
No detail left unfinished! You can really tell he takes pride in his craft. I would hire him again and again. 4 days and 2 bathrooms later, I'm so glad we made the decision to hire Elisha, and that he took on our project.
WS Flooring did a good job on our flooring work in our house. This included installation of new hardwoods (in formerly carpeted rooms), stripping and refinishing existing hardwoods (to match the new ones) and installation of new carpet in remainder of the house. WS worked with us to provide the specific carpet product we wanted (which we'd been shown by another flooring contractor). WS was responsive, honest and flexible with what we wanted and worked around our scheduling. Pricing was good value. We had received 3 separate quotes for identical work. WS ensured we were happy and fully satisfied prior to accepting payment. I would not hesitate to hire WS again for another flooring job.
I contacted Mr. Hernandez through an advertisement on the internet because I liked the pictures shown of the jobs he had previously done. I have been looking for someone to redo my bathroom since the beginning of the year and I have had been getting estimates of different contractors for the past 5 months (I had no rush). We decided to go a head with Mr. Hernandez because the price he had given us was amongst the best we had gotten plus he seem like he had a solid company and he also seem pretty confident on what he was doing so he seem experienced and knowledgeable and just felt right to us. We went a head and called him for the job and I have to say we are very pleased to have done so. His crew was very professional, he took great care of our furniture and flooring and the there was barely any debris or dust in the house while the work was in progress. While the work was in progress he suggested, after a conversation we had, to have a backsplash and undercounter lighting fixture done in the kitchen and it looked amazing. What I liked the most was the promptness of the work and the fulfillment of the due dates even with the extra work been done. I am sure I will be calling this young men again if we decided to go ahead and fix few other things around the house and I definitely recommend anyone to do so as well. We couldn't be more satisfied.
Brent was great to work with! He was prompt with his on-line response, he was on time to evaluate the project, is very knowledgeable about the siding/trim replacement, and gave me a verbal quote before he left. After hiring him for the project, he and his crew arrived on-time every morning, and typically worked into the evenings to complete the job on schedule. He is a hands-on owner, with attention to detail, and works side by side with his crew. You can count on him to be on-site, and personally manage the quality of the work. I’ve hired several contractors throughout the years, and right now, I have a hard time thinking of any that were better to work with than Brent. Definitely two 👍 👍!
Fast responses. Best Contractor I’ve use
